Un-patriotic agents for subverting India

The UPA has debased India in the international arena. Part of the reason is that the sole super power, the United States has such damaging materials on the corruption of Sonia Gandhi, especially in the Oil for Food UN programme in Iraq, and her illegal bank accounts in Macao, that the US can get any of its vital interests in India'spolicies protected.

There have been two great struggles for Indian people'sfreedom during the twentieth century. The first was the Mahatma Gandhi led Congress Party organised Freedom Struggle ending in 1947 with the British Imperialists? exit from India. The second was the JP-led and RSS organised Lok Sangharsh Samiti'sStruggle for Democracy and against the Emergency, ending in 1977 with the defeat of Smt. Gandhi in the polls and exit from government. In both great struggles, the present persona of the UPA, if old enough as some of the Left Front leaders are, were on the side of slavery and national subversion. The present President Ms. Pratibha Patil, Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh and UPA chairperson Ms. Sonia Gandhi were serving in one capacity or the other the chief priests of the Emergency?Smt Indira Gandhi and Sanjay Gandhi. For them ?India was Indira, and Indira was India?.

Ms. Sonia Gandhi used the occasion to visit the jewellers of Janpath and the National Museum in New Delhi, not to mention the Jaipur palace, to loot and cart all, in unchecked cartons, by Air India and Alitalia to Italy. Ms. Sonia Gandhi, alias Edvige Antonia Albina Maino?her real name in both her birth certificate, and in her marriage certificate deposited in Italy'sInternal Security Emigrant Office?was appointed as Managing Director of Maruti Technical Services by her brother-in-law despite not being High School pass and being an foreign citizen, thus as Justice Gupta Commission observed in 1979, was totally unqualified and had violated the FERA in holding the post and getting a huge salary.

Thus for UPA leaders to undermine India today, comes naturally to them. Since coming to power in 2004, they have systematically gone about doing precisely that. Let us review some their better known actions in government to realise the enormity of the damage that is being done to national integrity. We shall start with the latest: The Prime Minister has announced that he wept when he saw on TV the pain in the family members of a person arrested by Australian police for suspected terrorist activities. Hence, he dispatched his Minister of State for External Affairs and Muslim League leader E. Ahaamed to Bangalore to grieve with them. But he did not come to tears when families of those Watch and Ward staff of Parliament had grieved for having lost their bread winner who was killed defending Indian Parliament building, and those inside including the then Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha, viz., the present PM, against a terrorist attack. Imagine moreover the families? grief when the Supreme Court directed death sentence to the chief organiser Afzal Guru was stayed by the UPA government to consider a plea for mercy?not by Guru but someone on his behalf ! What was the difference in the two cases?Haneef'sin Australia and Yadav'sin Parliament House case ? Need I spell out the obvious? This unstated difference is the crux of every issue of national integrity challenge that the nation faces today.

The next move of national betrayal is contained in Dr. Singh'sgovernment focus on ?inclusive growth?, in that the PM will ensure that Muslims will get the ?first charge? on resources. Without doubt, Christians will get the second charge, and the rest will have to make do with the left-over crumbs. Why? Because a mentally constipated ex-judge held in a report that Muslims and ?Dalit? Christians are poor, and in the growth and reforms process they had been left out. Hence Muslims and Christians must get into IIT, IIM, AIIMS, IAS, IPS, etc., on a quota basis.

Are Muslims and Dalit Christians the only poor segments of the Indian population ? Of course not. Brahmins, many Kshatriyas, and other castes are too. The argument however goes from the PM side that if Hindu SCs and STs get quotas because they are discriminated, then Muslims and Dalit Christians are equally entitled. But they are not ! Hindu SCs and STs are suffering from disabilities imposed on them by society, while Muslims and Dalit Christians do not suffer from any disabilities imposed by society. In fact, Muslims and Christians have ruled India for more than a 1000 years when they perpetrated on Hindu society unspeakable acts of cruelty, discrimination and liabilities. Islam calls it dhimmitude. Recently an Islamic conference held in Canada demanded that the Pope of Vatican issue an apology to Muslims for the Spanish Inquisition in Europe and for Crusades in Palestine. By that demand, shall we ask the Muslims and Christians to apologise for Ghori, Ghaznavi, Aurangzeb, Nadir Shah, Robert Clive, Cornwallis, jazia tax, zamindari, etc., etc.?

If after 1000 years of brutal rule, the Muslims and Christians, as former ruling classes, suffer from disabilities today, it was not by imposition but by acquisition. Conversion obviously did not help improve their quality of life. Hence, to remove their poverty Muslims and Christians must, like other Hindu ex-ruling classes such as Brahmins and Kshatriyas, only ask for better primary and secondary education, easy loans for studying in IITs, IIMs etc., for which they must compete and get the qualifying marks. No quotas can be proposed for them on par with SCs and STs. The CJI of the Supreme Court therefore pertinently has asked the government to file an affidavit, after ascertaining from the Christian community, whether Christianity also professes a caste system, i.e., to allow a Christian to label himself or be labeled as ?Dalit? Christian.

I would add that since 99.99 per cent of Muslims and Christians are converts from Hindus, hence if any aggrieved Muslim or Christian proudly acknowledges his SC or ST ancestry, and re-converts to Hindu religion, he could then become eligible for SC/ST quotas. But most Muslims and Christians claim, if only privately, to be of Brahmin and Kshatriya ancestry. Thus, the Prime Minister'scall for first charge on resources for Muslims was a betrayal of all those Hindus who had suffered great torture, tribulation and atrocities for a 1000 years but chose to remain Hindus even if it meant becoming poor. The PM'scall therefore demeans the glorious valour of heroes like Rana Pratap and Kattabomman, and heroines like Rani Jhansi and Rani Chennamma. It is an insult to Bharat Mata herself.

The UPA has debased India in the international arena as well. Part of the reason is that the sole super power, the United States has such damaging materials on the corruption of Ms. Sonia Gandhi, especially in the Oil for Food UN programme in Iraq, and her illegal bank accounts in Macao, that the US can get any of its vital interests in India'spolicies protected. When Natwar Singh as Foreign Minister met the Russian and Chinese counterparts in Vladivastok and make some anti-US proposals, the Americans got to know. Thereafter the Americans had to just drop a hint, and Ms. Sonia Gandhi jumped and dumped Nehru family'smost loyal servant, Natwar Singh at the first opportunity which the Volcker Report provided by naming him, but not naming her. This comment of mine is not knee-jerk anti-Americanism. In fact, I have never hesitated to declare that India and the US are natural ideological allies. But being an ally is not the same as being a junior partner which India has become today. Why should for example, India hold joint defence exercises with US and Japan and Australia? These latter two named countries are under US umbrella, and we are not, and shall never be no matter what the consequences. But Manmohan Singh under US pressure has crumbled and crawled in accepting this grouping.

The same weak response we see in the Indo-US Nuclear Agreement. Unless we demand and get accorded a nuclear weapons power status, all these discussions will make India a mere US'sconcubine in nuclear issues, and not an equal partner. The US Congress will see to that.

Thus whether in domestic or foreign affairs, the UPA government has consistently demeaned India'sself-respect and integrity. While we may curse those who had protected Sonia Gandhi in the past to survive perjury, corruption and plain anti-national activities charges, what is necessary today is a new resolve that patriots will pay any price, go any distance to forge an instrument to unseat the UPA from power. Only then the nation can survive.
