?Talent should not be suppressed due to economic poverty among socially deprived people. The provision of reservation is good for time being, but today it has become a tool of vote-bank and power politics. A committee of neutral thinkers should be constituted to seriously study all the issues related to reservation,? said Shri K.S. Sudarshan, RSS Sarsanghachalak. He was speaking at the concluding ceremony of the third year Sangh Shiksha Varga in Nagpur on June 7. Noted writer Shri Anand Yadav was chief guest on the occasion. Dr Shri Ram Joshi, Vidarbha Prant Sanghachalak, Dr Dilip Gupta, Nagpur Mahanagar Sangha-chalak and Prof. Kajeshwar Shahane, Sarvadhikari of the Varga, were also present on the dais.

Shri Sudarshan said the RSS since beginning has been working for eradicating social inequalities. He said the concept of minority and majority should also be eradicated from the country. ?But the greedy political leaders and parties always look at their benefit in keeping Muslims and Christians away from national mainstream. Despite that the Sangh will continue to play its role in the construction of national society with harmony,? he added.

Expressing serious concern over the global terrorism, terrorist attacks in India and conversion by Christians and Muslims, Shri Sudarshan said the Government of India is moving on the support of America and communists, who, he said, have anti-Hindutva attitude. Shri Sudarshan termed the urbanisation in the country as a blunder on the part of Pt. Nehru and said the country can solve most of its problems only through the rural-based economy. He said the unemployment, western consumerism, Naxalism, etc. are the disastrous outcome of urban-centred economy.

Highlighting the background of the Sangh formation, he said the insult and negligence Hindus suffered in their own country, has not been ever faced by any majority community in its country. Is it the fate of Hindus? The Hindu society would continue to suffer it until it is united. Stating that the Hindu society would have to identify its strength, he said Dr Hedgewar had realised the harms of such condition of Hindus and he formed the Sangh to awaken the swabhiman of the Hindu society. He said after Dr Hedgewar, Shri Guruji had served the society continuously for 33 years. Shri Guruji developed the self-confidence among Hindus?that social structure based on Hinduism was the best way to restore peace and prosperity in the world.

Earlier, Shri Anand Yadav called upon the swayamsevaks of new generation to study and understand Shri Guruji as they have to face the future challenges. He said Dr Hedgewar wanted to make India a super power and Shri Guruji propagated the views of Dr Hedgewar. He further said the work of Shri Guruji is not different from the great traditions of Swami Vivekananda and Swami Ramkrishna Paramhansa. Emphasising on social harmony, he said the country couldn'tregister desired development without the social harmony. Therefore, the Sangh swayamsevaks should work more actively in this regard, he emphasised. (VSK, Nagpur)
