Revered Guruji

We cannot say of heart,

But from lips for sure,

During your stay here on earth

We could never dare address you as-

Maryada Purushottam Ram

or

Yogi-Raj Shyam!

Though you possessed all the attributes of both

And content;

Whereas we had all the intent.

We knew, to you the very idea was loath.

Lest you should chastise

We refrained and thought it wise-

To keep concealed,

What we ought to have revealed.

But now,

When you are not physically around,

And only your ideas resound

Cannot we afford to be a little bold and ask-

Sir,

How could you transform us-the sick and suffering lot-

Into men of steel,

Little water drops into oceans of unfathomable reach

And

Pebbles picked up from sandy beach into mighty mountain

Mere mortals into some one from divine domain,

Without the alchemy?

If you were not part of that supreme spark

That burns itself at both ends

Before it radiates the entire Universe

With its golden glow,

Infusing new life into sleeping graves

With His conch'spowerful blow.

Now, your silent smile

Can no longer beguile.

Deny, if you can,

Revered Guruji!

Could this miracle be performed

Without Krishna'sKarmyog

And Ram'svow (Raghukul Reetiā€¦)

We mean your well earned Devattava!!

Is not your sublime silence

An eloquent admission

To our obstinate submission!!!
