Once upon a time there was an eagle called Pinto. She was a snob. Moreover she always frightened other birds. One bright sunny day Pinto went in search of water to quench her thirst. After flying for long distance she found an earthen pot, which had little water in it. Since she was intelligent she dropped many small pebbles into the pot to raise up the water level. During the process the pot broke. Seeing this she started cursing herself. Hours passed and she couldn'tfind any water.
Pinto couldn'teven ask for water from anybody because she had never shared anything.
A small little sparrow named Chi saw Pinto crying for water. Due to thirst Pinto became unconscious and fainted. Seeing the pathetic condition of Pinto, Chi went to other birds for help. Hearing about Pinto all the birds gathered including Billoo, an ostrich, the eldest of all. Billoo said, ?we live in a community in which we should help each other.? Thus, all birds went to see Pinto and gave her water.
Seeing how caring her friends are, Pinto started weeping and felt sorry for her past behaviour. She realised the importance of sharing, friendship and kindness in one'slife. Thereafter she was loved by all.
