Wanted a second Ramlila Day!
By Dr. K.S Narayanacharya

It is good that the Jinnah issue has been raised in a big way and is exercising the minds of all thinking, responsible and patriotic people. Better after 57 years rather than not! Soon after the victory of Lord Rama, just like people who started burning Ravana'seffigies in every village of India, to keep up the spirit of nationalism, national values, and honour in the minds of the people eternally and symbolically, we should have perpetuated bitter memories of our societies for the Independence of this country in the form of burning effigies of the arch hater of all Hindu values, our nationhood, its indivisibility and divinity, namely Jinnah! The Gandhis and Nehrus of those days would have gone on hunger strikes then, perhaps followed by another setback for the already much-suffered Hindutva forces. The present Gandhis and Nehrus are mere ?scarecrows???Vibhishikas? not ?Vibhishanas??and will now be exposed if they side with the Jinnah forces!

Now is the right time to launch a day?say August 16; better still, August 14, a day on which our motherland was partitioned, so that all the three days?August 14, 15, 16 can be observed together, like Deepavali or Dusshera continuously, as ?Watch and Vigilance Days? or ?Victory Days? or whatever else we can call them. Some great national leader like Tilak, who made Ganesha a national symbol of unity, should give a call in this respect. The added advantage will be that those who oppose it will be exposed as traitors in whichever part they may have roots or shelter. If a Holi can be observed as the ?Burning of Kama? (evil desires) why can we not observe a Political Solidarity Day for eternity? Jinnah has to remain in our racial memory like Maaricha, Kansa, Ravana and Duryodhana!
