Sangh Samachar New Year celebrated with great fervour

Unlike the vulgur dramas on the midnight of December 31 to welcome the ?New Year?, the Hindu New Year, Vikrami Samvat 2062 was widely celebrated all over the country with decency and dignity on April 9. People greeted each other while some organisations organised different kinds of functions. In Delhi Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, a leading organisation representing Hindi literary persons, organised a poets meet at Deendayal Research Institute (DRI) in Delhi while Swadeshi Jagaran Manch organised a grand function at its central office in R.K. Puram. The Sanskar Bharati organised a three-day colourful event at Pragati Maidan in Delhi in which more than 300 leading artistes from the north-eastern states participated. The RSS shakhas also celebrated the event throughout the country.
