Facts about Kashmir
iah

Those in the Western media as well as members of the European Union Parliament Committee for Foreign Affairs, Human Rights, Common Security and Defence Policy who were responsible for dividing the Indian continent are bound to report against India.

Much is spoken about plebiscite in Kashmir. India never disobeyed the UN resolution. It is Pakistan which disobeyed the UN resolution to withdraw from occupied Kashmir. India did not invade Kashmir. At the request of the Maharaja of Kashmir, after acceding to India, to drive out Pakistani invaders the Indian troops were sent to push back the invaders. While the invaders were being pushed back, the UNO ordered the cease-fire. The Indian Chief of Staff, Gen. K.M. Cariappa requested Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to delay the acceptance of cease-fire by two days, so that the invaders could be completely driven out of Kashmiri soil. But Nehru was adamant and did not oblige; as such occupied Kashmir is still there.

The subsequent invaders of India, the Britishers, before withdrawing from India and with their tactful ?divide and rule? policy successfully divided India on the sole basis of caste and community in a most cunning manner, even without the consensus of the people, keeping behind a huge population of Muslims and not even declaring them as non-Indian residents.

Muslims are the primitive invaders of India. They demolished a huge number of temples and erected masjids in their place. They converted a huge Hindu population into Muslims by force. There is not even a single Islamic Muslim in the whole of India, Pakistan or Bangladesh. All are converted Indian Muslims. Their antecedents and ancestral history will authenticate the facts.

The Kashmiri Pandits were driven out of Kashmir by Pakistani invaders with a view to reduce the Hindu population and claim Kashmir as a Muslim-dominated state. Giving freedom to Kashmir will not solve any problem since Kashmir cannot survive on its own.

The moment India was divided solely on religious basis, the Muslims ceased to have any claims on India. They should have moved to the other side of the boundary at Partition time and vacated the Indian soil. Secularism and socialism cannot be extended to this community under any logic.

The Kashmiri Pandits were driven out of Kashmir by Pakistani invaders with a view to reduce the Hindu population and claim Kashmir as a Muslim-dominated state. Giving freedom to Kashmir will not solve any problem since Kashmir cannot survive on its own.

Can any member of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs, Human Rights, Common Security and Defence Policy explain under what right or authority a huge Muslim population is staying behind in India with full citizenship? Even after the country was divided illegally on caste basis, their report on Kashmir has been completely biased and far from facts: it is partial and much against natural justice.

There is only one universally acceptable solution now. Conducting a plebiscite in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh to ascertain the consensus of the people to know whether they approved the division of India or not. If the division is accepted, the entire Muslim population should move to the other side of the Partition line. In the event it is not acceptable, then re-union of all the three to live as before the Partition should be effected.

Our media is business-oriented without any patriotic or nationalist spirit. It is mainly responsible for all the ills of the country and the sorry state of affairs. Even the Partition of India could have been avoided.

Certain revolutionary changes like abolition of party politics and linguistic states are necessary which is not possible under the present set-up. A short span of martial rule is necessary.
