?The saffron colour that symbolises sacrifice, has been a source of inspiration since centuries. Those who oppose the colour are not well-wishers of the country. If saffronisation does not occur in India, where will it happen?? asked Shri Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He was speaking at the concluding ceremony of second-year Sangh Shiksha Varg held in Sitapur, Awadh Prant.

He said even the use of saffron colour has been termed a sin in this country, but there is no sin in giving huge subsidies to Haj pilgrims. He said Goddess Saraswati is worshipped in almost every home of West Bengal, but it became a sin when Dr Murli Manohar Joshi talked about worshipping the goddess there.

Shri Bhagwat said that the country got swaraj but has yet to get Independence. ?There is rampant corruption everywhere in the country where there was liar. There is no freedom even to sing Vande Mataram in this swaraj. The 85 per cent population of the country has to agitate to construct a temple at the birthplace of Lord Shri Rama. Although, excavation has clearly proved that a temple existed at the site, yet no permission has been given to construct the temple. Now the Hindu society will not depend upon the government for reconstruction of the temple. The Sangh itself will do it,? he asserted.

On the issue of Hindutva, the RSS Sarkaryavah said that all religions of the world were fundamentalist except the Hinduism. ?Islam says that there is no salvation without adopting Islam. The Christians too claim their faith to be supreme. Only Hinduism is the way of worship in the world that says all paths lead to one God,? he said, adding that though Hindu language is divided into various regional dialects, the message of all the languages is same. The word Rama has the same meaning everywhere be it Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh or Kerala, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. People of every state keep their names after Rama as He is omnipresent.

He said that the existence of Sangh was the necessity of the society and it had nothing to do with power. He said those who saw the Sangh from a distance tended to have some misconception about it. ?One will have to see the Sangh from close quarters to understand it. Daily physical exercise is done in the Sangh, but there is no gym there. As there can be no comparison of the sky and ocean, the Sangh too is non-pareil. It has nothing to do with anybody'sdefeat or victory. Since Sangh is also a part of the society, it can influence any political party for national interest,? he said.

Presiding over the function, Mahamandaleshwar Bajrangbali Brahmachari said the training for doing the RSS work was necessary for the society as well as in national interest. The feeling of other'swelfare is taught here. The Sangh is an organisation of the society where people can fight against attacks on Hinduism. Apart from Dr Ramesh Nagpal, Sarvadhikari, Dheeraj Agrawal, Prant Sanghchalak, Swantranjan, Avadh Prant Pracharak, Arvind Kumar, Prant Sharirik Pramukh, Kaushal Kishore, Vibhag Pracharak, thousands of Sangh activists and local people participated in the function.
