AT long last modern medicine has accepted the traditional methods of meditation, sadhna, yoga as purely scientific. Scientists and medical experts have realised that the right breathing techiques help in preventing the human body from ailments and diseases, besides slowing down the progression of disease, boosting antibodies and integration of segments of the brain.

A yogi called Chaitanya Guruji, who hails from Andhra Pradesh has come forward to help in changing the health of the society with a practical course called Yoga Sadhna Training Programme (SST).

The SST is a programme in which every sadhak (student) participates fully in all the activities during this camp/course. Not only does this help in curing the disease but also in changing the entire personality of a person.

The SST classes start with prayers followed by pranav sadhana and yog nidra. Guruji then explains how a person gets affected with different diseases. He says that our internal mana (mind) wants the events to happen to its liking, but every moment or event happens by the will of the eternal source/Nature/vital force or God.

Those who have gone through the SST programme no longer need the doctor, even if they suffer from some chronic disease.

Chaitanya Guruji says if a person practises right breathing techniques, i.e. pranav sadhna, yog nidra and samadhi regularly, he can avoid or face every attack of any serious unnatural event affecting the internal mind seriously and prevent diseases like blood pressure, heart disorders, mental disorders, depression, anxiety and stress.

Chaitanya Guruji´s lectures have the profound impact on the internal mana of sadhaks and the sadhaks give up pomp and show, tea, coffee, tobacco, cigrette, bidi, wine, non-vegetarian food, fried, roasted and cooked meal and learn to live on natural, germinated food during the camp.

Those who have gone through the SST programme no longer need the doctor, even if they suffer from some chronic disease.

Guruji says that high expectations lead to frustration, so one should not expect anything from others. His lectures stress the need to explore the internal powers which a person is not able to, due to involvement with the worldly affairs. He says happiness doesn´t come by acquiring more and more of needs but by giving whatever we can. This is the major source of happiness. He said that we should prepare ourselves to face very challenge posed in the future. This is only possible when we practise pranav sadhna (right breathing techique), yog nidra and samadhi daily.

The only thing we should practise is to remain in the present, to be active, without expecting favourable results, and every moment should be utilised not for enjoying but for working to one´s capacity, with full devotion.
