The Uttar Pradesh unit of Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad has decided to accelerate its membership drive in the state. The decision was taken at state executive meeting of the Parishad, which met in Lucknow recently. Dr Chhatrapal Singh, national president of the Parishad, and Omprakash Singh, Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Seva Pramukh of RSS, also attended the meeting. The executives decided to formally constitute an organisational unit in all districts of the state by July end. Uttar Pradesh has been divided into five prant?Avadh, Brij, Kashi, Goraksha and Kanpur to facilitate its smooth functioning and the membership drive will be carried out in all the prants.
