Sangh Samachar Ramnavami celebrated in Arunachal Pradesh

Ramnavami was celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm in Pasighat, the district headquarter of East Siang district in Arunachal Pradesh. Sahasra jalabhishek was performed on the occasion to pray for world peace and human welfare. Thousands of devotees including local Vanvasis and followers of Donyi-Poloism (worshippers of the Sun and the Moon) joined the procession led by Taluk Tamuk, president of Donyi-Polo Yelom Kebang, Pasighat. The magnificently designed chariot of Lord Rama and almighty Donyi-Polo was drawn by the devotees with great enthusiasm. The devotees carrying the holy kalash marched to the Shiv Mandir for jalabhishek followed by a procession to Donyi-Polo gengging (temple) to offer devotional prayers for world peace.
