The Congress is seemingly too happy to relive in its tainted past. The Delhi constituencies symbolise what the Congress really vouches for. Its real ?secular? colour is being exposed. The candidates from Outer Delhi and Sadar-Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler-only remind the people of the anti-Sikh riots in 1984. Both the leaders declare themselves to be exonerated by the Ranganath Mishra Commission but the Nanavati Commission set up to have a re-look at the 1984 riots is yet to decide it.

The candidate from South Delhi, R.K. Anand too lives in the glory of the 1984 riots. He had the honour of raising accusing fingers at the Sikhs saying they had received funds from the Christians. Anand has sought an apology from the Sikhs and asked them to forget the past. But what would the Christians do to him? There is yet another lawyer in the fray. He has the distinction of saving a judge from being impeached.
