New Delhi: An Air India employee, identified as Veeravel and using the Instagram handle grand_master, has sparked widespread outrage after posting abusive comments about Bhagwan Sri Ram on social media. The remarks have drawn strong criticism from many Hindus, who say they insult their faith and hurt religious sentiments.

Dear @AirIndiaX @airindia
Kindly note that one of your employees targets handles spreading Hindu content with abusive words sparking communal hatred. We Hindus don’t take such nasty comments about our Gods lightly. His Instagram handle is (@grand____master) Kindly appropriate… pic.twitter.com/r5Fl7fb48V

Veeravel also directed abusive comments at social media accounts that regularly share Hindu religious content. Several users described the posts as offensive and warned that such remarks could fuel communal discord.

Among those targeted was Vedic speaker Dushyanth Sridhar. In one of the comments attributed to Veeravel, he wrote: “How you feel if I told you your Rama is evil Jewish came from Israel, and got killed by our Tamil king Ravana, that’s the truth, but u guys change the story.” The comment has been widely condemned by devotees and social media users, who viewed it as insulting to Bhagwan Sri Ram and Hindu beliefs.

In another comment, Veeravel compared himself with Dushyanth Sridhar, claiming that Air India has employees with “good standards” like him but “not like Dushyanth,” whom he described as “uncultivated people.”

Screenshots of the alleged comments have been widely circulated across social media platforms, prompting calls for action against the employee. Many users have urged Air India to take note of the matter and take appropriate action, arguing that public remarks mocking a revered religious figure and using abusive language are unacceptable and offensive to millions of Hindus.
