Kaleshwaram is a town located on the border of Telangana and Maharashtra, falling under the Jayashankar Bhupalpally district of Telangana. The town is popularly known for the ancient and famous Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Swamy Temple. This revered temple is dedicated to the worship of Bhagwan Shiva. The most iconic aspect of the place is the Triveni Sangam, where the Godavari, Pranahita and the mythical underground Saraswati rivers meet.
District Collector Rahul Sharma stated that all departments are working in coordination to ensure that devotees can perform Pushkar snanam comfortably and safely during this sacred period.
Special programmes have been arranged by the government for 12 days in connection with the Saraswati Anthya Pushkaralu being held at the Kaleshwaram Triveni Sangam.
