It is a well-known fact that the anti-India propaganda machinery has its roots across the globe. The big businessmen, tech giants and millionaires funnel fake narratives against the Indian government, democracy and defame the cultural ethos by funding non-profit organisations, news outlets, think tanks and other entities under the veil of developmental activities. In the latest investigation, the Fox News has exposed the illicit anti-India motives fuelled by the American businessman Neville Roy Singham.
Neville Roy Singham apparently not just channelizes millions of dollars to propagate an anti-India narrative network, but he also fuels massive funds to pronounce strong pro-China communist agenda. The aim is to project the Indian government and democracy as a failure and spotlighting the communist system of China as an utopian ecosystem which acts as a perfect counter-weight to democracy. It is a systemic and institutionalised attempt to deliberately sow the seeds of communist ideologies in the minds of people and defame the democracy and cultural fabric of India.
For example, in the series of investigations ascertained by Fox News it was revealed that Neville Roy Singham fuelled a massive USD 600 million to channelize pro-China narratives. Singham’s information laundering machine runs across five countries and the anti-India network is a cornerstone in their narrative nexus. Roy Singham is funding several organisations of India including few media houses to debunk the political, economic structure of the country by constructing fake narratives. On the other hand, they highlight and popularize the Chinese communist functionaries as ideal and deliberately indulge in an information warfare to prove that Chinese communism is the best when compared to Indian democracy.
The House of Singham that heralds anti-India information laundering
The organisations and propaganda networks run by Roy Singham across the globe are called the “House of Singham”. As mentioned, they run anti-India narrative machinery in a very systemic way. They pick up specific issues that draw public attention and deliberately build fake narratives around it with unrealistic numbers, stories etc. They manipulate normal or minimal issues into sophisticated and polished propaganda and run a massive information laundering machinery. Thereby they distract people, manipulate opinions and instill biased or prejudiced perceptions that ultimately act against the established system in India.
Roy Singham thus runs a pro-China transnational network. Defame democracies as a form of “neo-imperialism” or “fascism” and present Chinese communism as a perfect counter-weight apparently for global well-being and as a solution to the global problems. To fulfill this illicit pro-China motive Neville Roy Singham funds non-profit organisations, activist groups, think tanks, media outlets etc. who are used as tools to inflict anti-India agenda and the goals of Chinese Communist Party(CCP) across the globe and in India specifically.
Organisations & News Outlets: The tools of Roy Singam & his communism
Let us understand the intricate dynamics of the anti-India propaganda machinery run by Neville Roy Singham. Let us decode how organisations and news outlets of India systematically construct anti-India narratives and promote Chinese communism. TriContinental, is a Massachusetts based Marxist think tank. It is a non-profit organisation who receive funds from Roy Singham to glorify Chinese propaganda. Through articles and newsletters, TriContinental consistently fuels anti-India and pro-China narratives in the Indian society.
TriContinental, repeatedly criticizes the foreign policy of the PM Modi government. For example, in the latest conflict between the US-Israel axis and Iran in West Asia, IRS Dena, an Iranian flagged warship was blown by the US military in the Indian Ocean. With this pretext, TriContinental defamed the Indian government. The article stated that the sinking of IRIS Dena is a humiliation for India and a foreign policy failure as New Delhi was unable to protect the warship that participated in Exercise MILAN, a naval exercise hosted by India.
Uncovering the truth
As mentioned by TriContinental it was not the foreign policy failure of India and it is not even a humiliating scenario for India with respect to the sinking of IRIS Dena. The reality is, when the US strikes targeted IRIS Dena it was 20 nautical miles away from Sri Lanka in the Indian Ocean Region(IOR). The warship was not traversing in the territorial waters of India, thus it was not the responsibility of India to protect it. Moreover, just because the warship of a country participated in the naval exercise hosted by India, it doesn’t mean it is the responsibility or duty of India to safely escort it back to home. There is no international obligation on these lines.
Despite this, India rendered shelter to the Iranian warships on humanitarian grounds. While IRIS Dena was blown up, India gave shelter to IRIS Lavan, based on a request from Tehran. This was purely on humanitarian criteria. Otherwise, under no international clause, India is accountable to render shelter to all the warships in the Indian Ocean Region(IOR). India is not responsible for the safe escort of the vessels when it is not in its territorial waters. However, beyond all the risks and the threat of spill-over effect of the West Asia conflict, India gave shelter to Iranian warships on humanitarian grounds. This shows that the statement by TriContinental is completely fake, a manufactured lie and a deliberate attempt to defame India in the global stage.
While constructing fake narratives about India, on the other hand TriContinental glorifies the history, technological advancements and developmental pathways about the Communist Party of China. It mentions the sagas of China in such a way that it is the ideal growth model that has to be replicated all across the globe. TriContinental also has an operating branch in India, specifically focused towards firing fake narratives about India. As per the sources, in 2024, TriContinental registered a massive revenue of USD 8,57,945. And all these money ofcourse is channelized towards defaming India and idealizing Chinese communism in India.
People’s Dispatch calls India’s foreign policy as “shameful”
Another propaganda outlet funded by the Roy Singham House is the People’s Dispatch, which consistently indulges in promoting pro-China narratives and anti-India fake news. This media hub, apparently projects itself as an international platform, which aims to promote the voices from the people’s movements from across the globe. However, all it does is defaming India and phrasing Chinese communism as a perfect alternative system of governance and growth. For example, in an article in 2025, People’s Dispatch articulated India’s foreign policy as “shameful”.
This was over India’s abstention in the United Nations over a resolution seeking immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Illogically, the authors of the article called India’s updated foreign policy approach as “Hindutva-Zionist alliance”. This is again a completely fake narrative. India’s foreign policy is rooted in the principles of multi-alignment or all-alignment with the goal of securing national priorities. India hails humanitarian approach rather than alliances or seeking short-term goals. Thus, unable to withstand the broad and visionary foreign policy goals of India, these communist news outlets construct fake narratives and defame India.
In another case, the People’s Dispatch published an article in February 2026, titled, “300 million on the streets in a historic national strike in India”. The news piece claimed that a massive number of people are protesting on the streets condemning the new labour codes and the India-US trade deal. In this article, the very number “300 million”, clearly depicts that it is fake news. Such amplified numbers exaggerate the case and try to artificially trigger discomfort, disturbance in the Indian society. Such fake narratives aim to disturb the peaceful social fabric of the society. It aims to gradually rupture the system and degenerate the regime by throwing people against the system by instilling fake anti-establishment emotions, that’s the sole motive.
On multiple occasions, People’s Dispatch has defamed the principles of Sanatana Dharma. It has constructed fake articles on India-Israel defence relations. For example, without any evidence, the People’s Dispatch article claims that the drones manufactured by Adani, Tata, Reliance and other industrial systems are used by Israel to attack Gaza. Thus, the Indian companies are causing “genocide” of Palestinians, says the People’s Dispatch article with zero evidence and credibility. India has indeed not exported any drones to Israel to attack Iran or any other parties in the region.
This is how People’s Dispatch and other anti-India organisations funded by Roy Singham deflate the attention away from truth and manufacture propaganda. It also frames the 2020 Delhi riots as the Hindutva violence against the oppressed and suppressed Muslim minority community. However, in reality, the 2020 Delhi-riots was a carefully planned and calibrated Islamist conspiracy against the Hindus. These news outlets also deem people like Umar Khalid, who are a national security threat, as “victims” and “innocents”.
NewsClick: Another tool of the Singham House
Another pro-China propaganda outlet funded by Roy Singham is the NewsClick. Neville Roy Singham’s Justice and Education Fund donated USD 10.5 million to the NewsClick. For receiving foreign funds and promoting pro-China propaganda, NewsClick also came under the radar of the Enforcement Directorate(ED) in 2021. The job of the news outlet is to defame and build fake narratives around the government, glorify Muslim victimhood and funnel anti-Hindu articles.
It is also said that many Chinese entities fund the NewsClick to popularize Chinese communism in India and disrupt India’s sovereignty. In 2023, an investigation by a private media platform unveiled that an ecosystem of activists, non-profit organisations, shell companies etc. are associated with China to promote pro-China propaganda and Neville Roy Singham is at the helm of this huge propaganda machinery. For example, a chargesheet filed by the Delhi Police in 2024 says that China is the ultimate paymaster in evoking anti-India narratives and Roy Singhan stands at the apex position of the fake narrative structure.
Apart from these organisations another source that is peddling anti-India narrative since 2019 is the People’s Forum which is funded by the House of Singham. The organisation is espousing sessions, seminars and movie screening to inflict a distorted and fractured idea of Jammu & Kashmir in the minds of the people. It presents India as an “occupying force” in Kashmir and calls for secessionist ideas by extending support to the extremist elements. In 2019, the House of Singham conducted another session titled, “Self-determination and solidarity in Kashmir”. This anti-India event reflects India in a negative light and urges the people to mobilize in favour of the freedom of Kashmir from India.
The anti-India saga of the House of Singham and the associated wings is thus continuous. With numerous seminars, events and funding news portals, Neville Roy Singham aims to rupture the solid political and social fabric of India and highlights Chinese communism. Despite such attempts for regime defamation and degeneration, India strives to stay strong and march in the path of progress. Consistently bursting these fake narratives and illicit information laundering is a pivotal pillar in the path of restoring the values and growth momentum of India.
