New Delhi: Amid the heightened tension between Bharat and Pakistan following Bharat’s precision strikes on Pakistan based terror camps to avenge the ghastly terror attack on innocent Hindu tourists in Pahalgam on April 22, Pakistan government has ordered to shut down all petrol pumps in the capital territory of Islamabad for two days as it is facing shortage of fuel

According to media reports, the authorities in Pakistan have issued an administrative order, instructing all petrol and diesel filling stations in the Islamabad region to remain shut for two days starting May 10 morning.

The Pakistani authorities in the said order have however not cited any reason for the drastic measure announced, raising speculation related to a fuel shortage amidst war like situation with Bharat. The order issued by the authorities is expected to impact the public and private transportation, causing panic among the common citizens.

A copy of the said order has also been doing the rounds on social media platforms with many pointing out Pakistan’s capabilities to sustain an extended period of escalation with Bharat.

Meanwhile the Bhartiya authorities has confirmed that there is sufficient fuel and LPG stock across the country and the supply chain is operating seamlessly.

The development arrived on the heels of multiple explosions reported from at least three cities of Pakistan amidst heightened tension with Bharat.

Earlier Pakistan launched a Fatah-2 missile on Bharat which was successfully intercepted and destroyed by the Bharatiya air defence system. This comes after Pakistan targeting multiple locations along the western bordering region of Bharat, lunching hundreds of drone and other munitions on the intervening night of May 8 and May 9.

The Pakistani troops also resorted to numerous cease fire violations along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. The Bharatiya armed forces however responded strongly, repulsing the drone attacks alongside giving a befitting reply to the cease fire violations.
