Love Jihad in Ayodhya: Khurshid Alam drugged, raped woman, forced into fake Hindu Marriage, pressured to embrace Islam

A Hindu woman, Aarti Chauhan, from Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh in a shocking case of Love Jihad has alleged that she was deceitfully trapped, drugged, raped, and forcibly married under false pretenses by Khurshid Alam alias Sunny, a Muslim man posing as a Hindu Kshatriya. Today, with two children and mounting threats to her life and religious freedom, Aarti stands at the brink of despair, threatening to commit suicide with her children at the Chief Minister’s Janata Darbar if justice remains denied.

According to the victim’s testimony, the nightmare began in 2020 when Khurshid, introduced by neighbor Safiq and his wife Simran, posed as an orphaned Hindu youth. Pretending to be a Kshatriya, he married Aarti at the sacred Badi Devkali temple in Ayodhya. The couple started their marital life in a rented home, but the foundation was built on a mountain of lies.

Shockingly, Aarti has alleged that before marriage, Khurshid had spiked her drink, raped her, and recorded the incident on video to blackmail her into marriage. What began as a union under deceit quickly turned into a sinister form of entrapment, where her Hindu belief was systematically attacked.

Once married, Khurshid forbade Aarti from practicing Hindu rituals, stopped her from performing pujas, and threatened her with violence if she dared to celebrate Hindu festivals or install murtis like that of Bhagwan Ganesh.

The deception only unraveled after the birth of their two children. It was then that Khurshid Alam revealed his true Muslim identity and started openly pressuring Aarti to convert to Islam. He also demanded that their son undergo circumcision, a rite in Islam, against Aarti’s religious beliefs.

Facing relentless coercion, religious oppression, and violent threats from Khurshid, Aarti found herself utterly isolated. Neighbours like Simran and her brother Olu a known history-sheeter allegedly joined in threatening her, intensifying her ordeal.

Despite repeated appeals to district police officers and authorities, Aarti claims that no meaningful action has been taken against the accused. Her complaints remain unheard, leaving her and her two young children trapped in a cycle of terror and helplessness.

“Every day, I live under fear. If I celebrate a Hindu festival or even think of worshipping Bhagwan Ganesh, he threatens to kill me. They drugged me, used me, and now want to erase my identity. I am a Hindu, and I will die a Hindu,” Aarti said tearfully while speaking to local reporters.

Unable to bear the continuous threats and harassment, Aarti has publicly declared that she will take the drastic step of committing suicide along with her children in the Chief Minister’s Janata Darbar if swift and stern action is not taken against Khurshid Alam, Simran, Safiq, and their accomplices.
