For the first time, Uttar Pradesh Tourism, under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is set to host a spectacular drone show at the grand Mahakumbh 2025. This dazzling display will illuminate the skies above the Sangam Nose area, promising a unique visual treat for pilgrims and visitors alike.

District Tourism Officer Aparajita Singh announced that the drone show will mark both the opening and closing ceremonies of Mahakumbh 2025. “A fleet of approximately 2,000 drones will narrate legendary tales from ‘Prayag Mahatmyam’ and the Mahakumbh, showcasing mythological events like the Samudra Manthan (ocean churning) and the emergence of the Amrit Kalash (nectar pot). The illuminated drones will create a magical visual narrative in the evening skies, blending culture, spirituality, and technology,” she said.

The drone show will highlight the religious and spiritual significance of Prayagraj, offering an immersive and memorable experience to both devotees and locals.

Mahakumbh 2025, scheduled from January 13 to February 26, 2025, is shaping up to be a global cultural phenomenon.
