Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, BJP President JP Nadda and other leaders paid tributes to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on his 107th birth anniversary .

Taking to X the Prime Minister said that the personality and work of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the founder of Antyodaya, who dedicated his entire life to the service of Mother India, will always remain a source of inspiration for the countrymen.

The Prime Minister also shared his thoughts on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.

Earlier today PM Modi before addressing party workers at ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’ in Bhopal paid tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya prior to his address at Jamboree Maidan.

The Prime Minister is also set to unveil a 72-foot statue of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya in the National Capital. The statue has been erected in a park opposite BJP headquarters on Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg in the national capital.

Tributes by the leaders

Union Hime Minister Amit Shah paid his tributes to Pandit said, “he is the symbol of national service and dedication. Whenever it comes to the welfare of humanity, the principle of Pandit ji’s Integral Humanism philosophy will always guide the entire mankind like the pole star.He believed that only self-reliance from food to ideas could give a nation its place in the world. Today this resolution is the basic concept of self-reliant India”.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also offered tributes to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on his birth anniversary in Lucknow on September 25.

The Chief Minister offered floral tributes to the statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya in the State’s capital city Lucknow. He also garlanded the statue of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh leader (BJS).

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak and several other leaders also paid their respects to the late leader.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President, JP Nadda, joined by other party leaders, also paid their heartfelt tributes to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on the occasion of his birth anniversary here in the National Capital.

The solemn event took place in Delhi, where the party members came together to honour the iconic figure who played a pivotal role in shaping the BJP’s ideology.

JP Nadda, along with fellow party leaders, offered floral tributes to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, highlighting the enduring legacy of his ideas and the enduring influence they continue to have on the party’s policies and governance.

About Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya

Born on September 25 1916, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya was an Indian politician, proponent of integral humanism ideology and leader of the political party Bharatiya Jana Sangh.

He was a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) thinker and former leader of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, the forerunner of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He became president of the Jana Sangh in December 1967.

His birth anniversary serves as a poignant moment for the party to reflect on his contributions and reaffirm its commitment to the principles and values he espoused.
