One will get to witness some sweeping changes in the dress code of the parliament staff at the special session which is scheduled to begin from September 18. According to the reports in the media, the marshals in the parliament will wear cream-coloured kurtas instead of safari suits while the PGD or the security group who will be responsible for protecting the parliament, will also be seen a new attire.
The dress of the women employees has also undergone change. They will be seen wearing sarees of a new design. It has been reported that the male employees at the new Parliament building would be seen wearing cream colored jackets with a lotus printed on it along with Khaki trousers.
The new dress code of the Parliament employees has been designed by the National Institute of Fashion Technology. In the past the bureaucrats who used to wear bandhgala suits, they would now be seen in Majenta or deep pink Nehru jackets. The marshals in both the houses of the parliament will now be seen in Manipuri turbans.

What could be the likely agenda for the special session of the Parliament?
The opposition has been raising its voice for not knowing the agenda of the five day long special session which will be held from September 18 to 22, 2023. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi is the one who has called for the special session and the agenda for the same is likely to be released soon.
