Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh: A video surfaced over social media where an 18-year-old Iqra ran through the roof to save her life from her husband and in-laws. She reached the roof of a nearby government school running through the roof.

In the video, she describes how her husband Yusuf has allegedly inflicted severe bodily injuries on her, with swollen eyes, bruises, cuts, and bite marks on her body. She describes that Yusuf cuts her with a blade, nails, and teeth. Furthermore, she alleged that Yusuf forced her to have a relationship with her brother.

It is pertinent to note that when she was asked about the perpetrator’s name, she refused to tell his name, fearing for her life, and said that they would kill her. It is pertinent to note that fractures were discovered in Iqra’s medical examination report.

The people took her to the police, and she filed a complaint. UP Police have arrested her husband Yusuf and her mother-in-law Rani and lodged them in jail. The police have registered a case for assault and dowry against her husband Yusuf, her brother-in-law Yameen and Sajid and her mother-in-law Rani, News7Noida reported.
