Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders has revealed that he has been receiving death threats from Muslims for supporting Nupur Sharma’s comments on Muhammad’s life.

The Netherlands lawmaker said on Twitter that he has been receiving death threats from Muslims for supporting Nupur Sharma. He also said Nupur spoke the truth about Muhammad’s life and slammed Muslims, saying they have no morals.

“I receive many death threats now from Muslims who want to kill me for supporting #NupurSharma who spoke the truth and nothing but the truth about Muhammad and Aisha. My message to them is: go to hell. You have no morals. We stand for the truth. We stand for freedom,” Wilders said on Twitter.

Earlier, Wilders slammed Islamic nations by calling them hypocrites and said there is no rule of law in Islamic countries. He also said Islamic nations should be criticised for having neither freedom nor democracy. He added that Islamic nations persecute minorities and disrespect human rights like no other nation does.

He called Nupur Sharma heroic and also said Muhammad’s ideology was offensive and abusive.

Wilders openly supported Nupur Sharma’s comments on Muhammad’s life and advised Indians to support her. He also said appeasement will never work but will only make things worse.

Nupur Sharma has been receiving rape and death threats from Islamists ever since the fake news peddler and Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair twisted Nupur Sharma’s comments on social media with an 85-second video.

Several days after writing to the Delhi Police Commissioner, Delhi Police, on Monday (June 6), registered FIR over the threats the former spokesperson has been receiving from Islamists.

BJP, on Sunday, suspended Nupur Sharma from the party for ‘expressing views contrary to the party’s views on various matters.”

Later, Nupur apologised on Twitter for her comments on Muhammad, saying it was never her intention to hurt anyone’s religious feelings.
