ABVP organises mega ‘Tiranga Rally’ ahead of Republic Day; ‘Vande Mataram’ chants echo in Manipur

The ABVP leaders informed Organiser Weekly that the rally was supposed to be bigger than what people witnessed today. However, the strength and size were reduced following the Covid-19 SOP and Guideline issued by the government

Imphal: On the 125th Birthday Anniversary, the State capital Imphal witnessed a huge 'Tiranga Rally', echoing  'VandeMataram' on Sunday morning.

The first of its kind Tri-colour Flag rally in Manipur, ahead of this year Republic Day, is to celebrate the 75th year of Independence organised by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Manipur.

Nearly 150 students took part in the 'Tiranga Rally', holding the 75-meter long flag and passing through the state capital enrouting the Western Gate of Kangla, from CC Hr Secondary School.

The ABVP leaders informed Organiser Weekly that the rally was supposed to be bigger than what people witnessed today. However, the strength and size were reduced following the Covid-19 SOP and Guideline issued by the government.

ABVP organised the rally in four different districts of Manipur.
