Quality, innovativeness and global employability are the three buzzwords in the educational milieu. The Gautam Buddha University, a research and innovations University with prime focus on optimising employability and turning out globally employable graduates, offers more than 120 quality programmes at UG, PG, M Phil and Doctoral Research Programmes in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Management, Computer Applications, Artificial Intelligence, Biotechnology, Molecular Medicine, Genomics and Genomic Engineering, Food Technology, Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Buddhist Studies, Data sciences, Business Analytics, Railway Signaling and RAMs, Genetic Engineering, Metro Rail Engineering, along with the other conventional programmes.
 
It is not only the infrastructure which is world class and rare to see, elsewhere in the country, but on top of all the teaching–learning approaches are even more unique to include a most diverse blend of the pedagogical, andragogical, heutagogical and peeragogcal (teaching-learning) approaches. The University has best placements record with tempting salary package offers up to Rs. 12 lakh per annum and an average of 2-plus job offers per enrolled student.
 
The University inspires the students to conceive ideas and incubate to establish their own startups or other entrepreneurial units through its incubation centre and entrepreneurship development cell. The university has Centres of Excellence in the areas of (i) Artificial Intelligence (ii) Rapid and Alternative Energy Mobility, (iii) Solar Power & Micro-grids, (iv) Biotechnology, (v) Polyurethene Technology, (vi) Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (vii) Cyber Security(viii) Inclusive Sociology (ix) Environmental Law Management and Research, (x) Ancient Indian Wisdom and Contemporary Disciplines. The university also endeavours to equip the faculty members with latest breakthroughs and developments taking in their respective fields by organising regular faculty development programs and workshops. Student seminars and workshops are a routine, mostly conducted through the study circles, forums and study groups run by the students themselves. Continuous and ongoing collaboration with the industry are regular features through University-Industry Roundtables, ongoing contract research for industry and company specific virtual corporations of the university. Close cooperation with industry chambers and industry associations is a routine affair to enhance employability, organise job fairs, up skill the students. The University has unique distinction of launching B Tech Programme in Artificial Engineering in 2019.
