Telangana Government faces criticism for not implementing Cow Slaughter and Animal Preservation Act because of its alliance with AIMIM.

With support from the Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM, the cattle mafia operates with no fear of law in Telangana.

AIMIM has seven members in the assembly.

Bajrang Dal held a state-wide protest in Telangana on Monday (July 5), demanding the state government to implement the Telangana Prohibition of Cow Slaughter and Animal Preservation Act properly and take action against cattle and beef smugglers.

The ANI quoted the Telangana state Bajrang Dal Convener Subhash Chander, "Telangana Government is working under the hands of AIMIM. The atrocities of AIMIM leaders are increasing day by day. Cow slaughtering has turned into a big mafia under the hands of TRS and AIMIM leaders. Telangana police are working for hand in glove with these parties."

He demanded the proper implementation of the Telangana Prohibition of Cow Slaughter and Animal Preservation Act and strict action against the cattle smugglers.

An assassination attempt was made on a Bajrang Dal member on Sunday (July 4) for protesting cow smuggling. The police have taken no action in the case. Chander expressed his anger and demanded that police immediately arrest the accused.
