These cars turned ambulances were handed over to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Prant Karyavah Kismat Kumar and Chief Medical Officer, Dr Prakash Dadoch.
The Chief Medical Officer flagged off car ambulances for Sadar, Jhandutta and Swarghat health blocks. All arrangements have been made in the three cars to protect against the coronavirus. These three private car ambulances will be available 24 hours corona patients from their homes to Covid Care Centres in case of emergency as per the instructions of the District Health Department.
As a driver in an ambulance, the swayamsevak will render service round-the -clock. Swayamsevaks who have volunteered to convert cars into ambulances and serve as drivers include Shiv Kumar Nadda of the Zandhuta section, Sadar Mittal and Puneet of Swarghat.
Prant Karyavah Kismet Kumar said that an ambulance would soon be arranged in umarwin. It is difficult for any person or organisation to single-handedly fight against Corona. We all have to unite and fight the battle against Corona. Volunteers have also arranged 10 private cars in the district to transport healthy corona-affected people from the Corona Care Centres to their homes. Efforts are now being made to make such arrangements in every district in the state.
