Rahul Gandhi does a Joseph Goebbels, lies again that there is no Fisheries ministry in India

In yet another incident that exposes his poor general awareness, Rahul Gandhi repeated his false allegation that India doesn’t have a ministry dedicated to fisheries. Rahul had repeated the same lie before while addressing a gathering in Puducherry where he told the crowd that he would form fisheries ministry if Congress comes to power. Even though there were sharp reactions from the public about his comment, he seems to be reluctant to accept the truth.

Either Rahul Gandhi is trying to emulate the Joseph Goebbels model of converting a lie into truth by simply repeating the lie 100 times or Rahul is totally ignorant of the government-related issues.

While talking to the members of the fishermen community, Rahul said, “Just like our farmers farm the land, you farm the sea. Farmers have a Ministry in Delhi, you don’t. No one speaks for you in Delhi. The first thing I’d do is have a Ministry dedicated to fishermen of India so that your issues can be defended & protected.”

While addressing the crowd at Puducherry, Rahul had said, “Govt passed 3 Bills against farmers, the backbone of a nation. You must be wondering why am I talking about farmers at a meeting of fishermen. I consider you as farmers of the sea. If farmers of land can have a ministry in Delhi, why is that farmer of the sea don’t have the same.”

After the comments of Rahul Gandhi went viral on social media after his Puducherry speech, the departmental minister Giriraj Singh used the opportunity to take a jibe at him. He posted a tweet in Italian, which translates to, “Dear Raul (@RahulGandhi ), There is no separate Ministry of Fisheries in Italy. It comes under the Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies.”
