Indore: RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat addressed the gathering of Shakha Gatnayaks from Indore Mahanagar and the Pravasi Sangh workers on February 20. Addressing the gathering he said a Gatnayak is not only the leader of a group of swayamsevaks, but he is also the main part of the whole communication network in the Sangh. He is the medium of not only ensuring the presence of swayamsevaks at Shakha but also ensuring desired changes in the society. The society also draws inspiration from the conduct of such disciplined and dedicated workers.
“The job of a Gatnayak is not less than tapasya. Before acting as Gatnayak, a swayamsevak has to change oneself because the society accepts one when one’s conduct is trustworthy. Our working method is time-tested. We do not need any instruction to help the victims during any calamity and maintaining the zeal of the people in such a situation,” the Sarsanghachalak said. He called upon the workers to be vigilant from the anti-national activities. He stressed that every worker should associate at least 25 persons with the Sangh and should associate them through his own conduct, conducting door to door, man to man and face to face contact. He said the Gatnayak should ensure that today’s ordinary swayamsevak is transformed into the Gatnayaks in two years. Kshetra Sanghachalak Shri Ashok Soni and Vibhag Sanghachalak Shri Shailendra Mahajan also shared the dais.
