Tarun Shivir in Manipur

Imphal: The work and contribution of the RSS swayamsevaks are not for getting any award, medal or compensation. The swayamsevaks render their services as duty and responsibility to the nation,” said RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri V Bhagaiah while addressing the valedictory function a three day Tarun Shivir at  Khuman Lampak Archery Ground. There is no question of hatred in our culture; the only thing is love, unity, affection and harmony. Bharat has great sons and daughters like Netaji Bose, who fought against the British and unfurled the tri-colour at Moirang and Rajashri Bhagyachandra, who is regarded as father of Indian Art and Culture. Nat Sangkritan, propounded by Rajashri Bhagyachandra, was recognised by UNESCO,” he said.
He said Shakha brings change in the life of a swayamsevak. Serving the society is our responsibility. Shakha changes the family lives, professional ethics, mode of worshipping the society. Sangh changes the outlook and attitude of the swayamsevaks. That is why they volunteer during natural calamities, war or riots without seeking instruction from anyone. Their sewa has been applauded by one and all on many occasions.
Lt Gen (retd) Shri K Himalay said we have to be courageous and work with a vision. But one’s bravery should not be misused in anti-social activities. “We are all sons and daughters of India and the planet,” he said.
