“The Problem of Kashmir is not the personal problem of Sh. Abdullah or Pt. Nehru. It is   not even the problem of congress Party of the National Conference alone. It is the problem of the whole of Bharat and it is the whole of Bharat that will solve it,” declared Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerji president Biaratiya Jana Sangh’ addressing a mammoth gathering at the Ramlila grounds last Sunday  which sat raptly listening to him in the midst of a heavy downpour.
The huge meeting was the grand finale of the Kashmir Week observed by the Jana Sangh in the Capital. The crowds of thousands which defied the black clouds and the continuous rains to pack the grounds was richly rewarded when a galaxy of Jana Sangh, Hindu Sabha  and other leaders  and MPs reached the meeting punctually. The celebrities, headed by Dr. Mookerji,  included Dr NB Khare, MP, President Akhil Bharat Hindu Maha Sabha Barr. NC Chatterjee, MP, Bengal provincial Hindu Sabha President, Shri VG Deshpande, MP Organising Secretary, Hindu Sabha and Shri Ram Chandra Reddy as well as Babu Ram Narain Singh, both MPs.
Rains poured in repeated burst three of four times during Dr. Mookerji’s speech but no one  in the audience moved, which dispersed only after the meeting was over with lusty shouts of Kashmir Hamara. It was with such slogans that Dr Mookerji was greeted when he declared: Abdullah is Ungrateful.

The Bombay institute of  Yoga and Psychotherapeutics
By Anthony Elenjimittam

Dr JB Milovanovich of Paris and Dr Therese Brosse of the Harward Research Centre in Creative Altruism who recently visited India to ascertain facts for applied Yoga for psychotherapeutics, managed to register with electro cardiograms and diagraphy the changes caused in an individual when sensory organs are controlled through Yoga. This psychological and scientific fact was proved at the Yoga Institute, Santa Cruz, Bombay on April 25th 1952, thanks to the co-operation of Shri Yogendra, the founder of Scientific Yoga in America and India.
The distinguishing  feature of the Yoga Institute of Bombay is that it claims to stand on the unshakable citadel of scientific facts. In order to grasp  the psycho-therapeutics  and Self-realizational objective of the Institute it is necessary to trace the historical genesis and the  various vicissitudes  it has passed through during the thirty five years of its existence. For, the Yoga Institute of Bombay today stands out as a pioneering centre for the study, research and applied psychotherapy of the  Yoga system of philosophy, one of the priceless pearls  of Indian civilization.        n

The relations of Kashmir with Bharat have become a burning  topic. We do not wish to say anything against Sh. Abdullah. But he is exploiting this restraint to give bent to anti-Bharat feelings. It is said that Abdullah is opposing the two-nation theory of Mr Jinnah. But the proof of his bona fides in this respect would be for him to declare that he is a Bhartia first and Kashmiri and Muslim after  wards.    He is creating a gulf between Bharat and Kashmir by his slogans of Kashmiri  Freedom and Kashmiri nationalism.
“This fissiparous  tendency has already harmed Bharat enough. 500….. princely states have merged in Bharat and become limbs of its body politic Kashmir will have to do the same. Now a-days the abolition of  constitutional monarchy in Kashmir has become a topic of discussion Time and again we have declared that we are not in favour of Maharaja : but  Abdullah must not forget that it was because of the determination to accede to Bharat of  this very Maharaja that he (Abdullah) could become the chief Minister. It is indeed a strange paradox that the Nizam who rebelled  against Bharat has been made  Rajpramukh while the friendly maharaja of Kashmir is being deposed. We say even the appointment of Governors should be done away with; but all this can take place whi appropriate amendments in the constitution.”
Separate Flag Insult to Bharat
Referring to the proposed separate flag for  Kashmir Dr Mookerji said :
“Any organisation has the right to have a flag for its own. But no State has the right to do so in contravention of the honour of the National Flag and the unity symbolized by it.”              n
