Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata (1839 –1904) was an Indian pioneer industrialist, known as “One-Man Planning Commission” who founded Tata Group, India’s biggest conglomerate company

Ardeshir Burjorji Sorabji Godrej (1868–1936)
was an Indian businessman. With his brother Pirojsha Burjorji, he co-founded the Godrej Brothers Company

 

Lovji Nusserwanjee Wadia (1702–1774) was a member of the Wadia family of shipwrights and naval architects, who founded Wadia Group in 1736

 

Defence

Field Marshal Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Manekshaw, MC (1914–2008)
was the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the five-star rank of field marshal. Under his command, India won the 1971 Indo-Pak War

Air Marshal Aspy Merwan Engineer, DFC (1912–2002) was an officer in the Indian Air Force who rose through the ranks to become Chief of the Air Staff and later served as India’s ambassador to Iran. He was awarded Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC)

Lt. Col. Ardeshir Burzorji Tarapore, PVC (1923-1965)
is the brave martyr of the Battle of Chawinda. He belonged to the family of General Ratanjiba who led the army of Shivaji. He was awarded Param Vir Chakra for his action in the battle

Homi Jehangir Bhabha (1909–1966)
known as “Father of the Indian Nuclear Programme”, was
an Indian nuclear physicist, first chairman of the Indian Atomic Energy Commission, founding director, and professor of physics at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR)

Shiraz Naval Minwalla (Born in 1973)
is an Indian theoretical physicist and a faculty member in the Department of Theoretical Physics at TIFR, Mumbai, has won several international awards for his  contributions to the study of

Homi Nusserwanji Sethna (1923–2010)
was an Indian nuclear scientist and a chemical engineer, gaining international fame as the Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission (India) during the time when the first nuclear test, codename Smiling Buddha in Pokhran Test Range in 1974 was conducted string theory and quantum field theory

 

Politics
Bhikaiji Rusto Cama (1861–1936)
was a prominent figure in the Indian independence movement. She hoisted Indian flag outside India for the first time. The flag which was
co-designed by Cama later became a template for the current national flag

Dadabhai Naoroji (1825–1917)
known as the Grand Old Man of India, was an intellectual  and a political leader who developed the Drain Theory. He was the first Asian to be a British MP and the first to publicly demand independence for India
Sir Pherozeshah Mehta (1845–1915)
was a political leader, activist, and a leading lawyer of Mumbai. He was co-founder and President of the Indian National Congress and the founder of the Bombay Municipal Corporation

Law
Nanabhoy “Nani” Ardeshir Palkhivala (1920–2002)
was an Indian jurist and economist. He has received honorary doctorates from Princeton University, Rutgers University, etc and was appointed Indian Ambassador to the United States in 1977

Fali Sam Nariman (born in 1929)
is a distinguished Indian Constitutional jurist and senior advocate to the Supreme Court and has remained the President of the Bar Association of India since 1991. He is a recipient of the Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan

Soli Jehangir Sorabjee, AM (born in 1930)
is an Indian jurist and former Attorney-General of India. He has been honored with Padma Vibhushan for his defense of the freedom of expression and the protection of human rights
