The people of Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir have started  agitations against constant aggression and human rights violation by Pakistan armed forces and the Government. A video footage on news channels showed a massive crowd shouting anti-Pakistan slogans and demanding freedom.
Jammu & Kashmir is high on agenda of present Government. The world is learning that the State is not only Kashmir but it also includes Jammu and Leh-Ladakh regions. The rationale behind the holistic approach is that it's not only parts of Kashmir that are under Pakistan occupation but that of Jammu as well. When Pakistan Army-backed raiders marched towards Srinagar in October 1947, they also illegally occupied parts of Bharateeya Territory south of Pir Panjal ahead of Jammu.

“We haven’t kept thousand of troops to suppress our Kashmir, there is hardly any soldier who is suppressing our people. They are living freely and there is no such thing.” —Sartaj Aziz, Pakistan’s National Security Advisor”

Jammu & Kashmir is clearly high on the Modi Government’s agenda. Of late, Minister of State for Prime Minister Office Personnel Jitendra Singh has suggested that Article 370 could be repealed. The decision to rename POK as POJK was not only a strategic move but also a psychological approach. It will send out a positive message to residents of Jammu, who have always found themselves cut off from the discourse over the future of the State. Even the interlocutors appointed by the previous UPA Government had ignored Jammu in their report while talking aloud about recreating the offices of the ‘Wazir-e-Azam’ and the ‘Sadar-e-Riyasat’. Coupled with a comprehensive policy to rehabilitate internally displaced persons, the move is aimed at boosting the morale of the homeless Kashmiri Pandits and the people of Jammu and correcting other perceived lopsided treatment. Within the state there is huge discrimination against Ladakh and Jammu regions in terms of development, education, public employment, expenditure and number of elected representatives.

““There has been a simmering discontent among people from PoK for a long time. It is because of the discrimination suffered by this region as compared to other regions of Pakistan. This is not in terms of development but also in the basic facilities provided with respect to health care and education.” —Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs”

This changed situation in Bharateeya side has attracted cordial responses from across the Line of Control (LOC).  While protesting in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK) area, people were demanding freedom from Pakistan.
Recently all national as well as international news channels showed a video in which people who are particularly belonging to the POJK areas which were illegally occupied by the external aggressions of the Pakistani hired persons and army  in 1947. Among the protesters, a large number of people originally belong to the either side of the border that was due to the Pakistan’s hideous agenda implemented during the partition of Bharat. And now these people have started a movement against Pakistan and exposed the real face of Pakistan because people gathered in a large scale and shouted anti-Pakistan slogans demanding freedom from Pakistan.

““If a plebiscite is held in the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, more than 99 per cent people there would vote to become a part of the Union of India.” —Maulana Syed Athar Dehlavi, Chairman of Anjuman Minhaj-e-Rasool (www. deccanchronicle.com, November 9, 2014)”

As shown in the video footage, the people unleashed a strong protest against Pakistani Army as well as administration because they are dissatisfied with Pakistan and want to merge with Bharat. And this is not the first time that people have raised their voices against this large number of human rights violations by Pakistan in POJK area. Because the residents of these areas of POJK are frustrated and aggravated by the terrorist activities of the jihadis and the active terrorist camps in those areas. They are outrageous because they are deprived of development, livelihood support facilities, jobs, better administration etc. The threat posed by terrorism is increasing day by day.  So taking all the matters in one line, the grieved people have come to the front to register their strong voice and held massive protests in different areas of Mirpur, Kotli, Gilgit etc. in POJK.  The video of the protest along with intense the anti-Pak and pro-Bharat sloganeering circulated by news channels showed women beating their chests and raising slogans against the Pakistani armed forces and government for their brutal attacks on them. They are demanding freedom from Pakistan and opting for Bharat because Bharat is a peace loving and democratic country. A large number of youths also gathered and shouted slogans in favour of the Bharat and demanded Pakistan to leave them so that they can go with Bharat. They  were talking that if they refused to join jihadi community they  would be picked on by the army as well as ISI.  In this resentment they showed their clear stands against Pakistan that there is no future of the general public in Pakistan illegally occupied areas of the Bharat since 1947. They were also talking that there is violations of the human’s rights in large scale and Pakistani authorities are brutally using force on them. They gathered in thousands for their protests and were also out of control from armed personnels. The video showed that anti-Pakistan protests are on the rise in POJK and the Pakistani armed forces as well as local police force are using brutal actions to shut their voices.

““The Pakistani government often pretends that the only problems faced by Kashmiris are in India. It should start looking into ways of ending human rights abuses in Azad Kashmir.” —Brad Adams, Asia director at Human Rights Watch (www.hrw.org, September 21, 2006)”

Now this is the right time for Bharat to take matter in serious concern. The Parliament of Bharat has already passed a resolution on February 22, 1994. The Resolution was unanimously adopted and key points of the resolution are given below:

  • The state of Jammu & Kashmir has been and shall be an integral part of Bharat and any attempts to separate it from the rest of the country will be resisted by all necessary means
  • Bharat has will and capacity to firmly counter all designs against its unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity and demands.
  • Pakistan must vacate the areas of the Bharateeya state of Jammu & Kashmir, which they have occupied through aggression.
  • All attempts’ to interfere in the internal affairs of Bharat will be met resolutely

Keeping in view all these positive developments whether on Bharateeya side or on Pakistani side, it is the duty of whole world community to put serious legislative and diplomatic checks on Pakistan because Pakistan generated terrorism is matter of concern not only for Bharat but also for whole world. This is the only way to provide world peace in true spirit.
