Readers’ Forum : Death knell to the Colonial Beggar
(Organiser, 23.8.2015); Apropos to the editorial, ‘Death knell to the Colonial Beggar’ in Organiser. First of all I wish to ask where we are heading towards by calling Bharat as a Common Wealth country. Is it not a sheer foolishness? It appears we are celebrating and commemorating our own slavery. It is rightly mentioned in the third para of the editorial that when the Common Wealth Association carries flawed understanding about a sovereign member country it is not worth associating with them and instead concentrate on other institutions in Indian Ocean Region and Southern Asia. I feel that we should close this concept of ‘Commonwealth Country ’.

( Organiser, 23.8.2015); This refers to the article titled ‘Wake-up and Smell the Coffee’ by Brig Anil Gupta in Organiser. This wake-up call must be for the nations who are still talking about good and bad terrorism and not for Bharat which is determined to root out terrorism for ever with strong iron hands. As far as ISIS is concerned our Intelligence Agencies are keeping an eagle eye on anti-human, anti-civilisation activities of this new terror factory, flourished by developed nations for their personal gains. Question here arises is from where this terror group acquires sophisticated war fighting machinery. Most probably they buy from the so-called developed nations. This makes a grim and dark situation for the entire universe. Being world’s peace maintaining organisation United Nations must take stern action against such nations and expel them from its membership and make new members from the third world countries that are not only against terrorism but acting strictly against it.

Maharana Pratap
(Organiser, 23.8.2015 ); This refers to the letter titled ‘Maharana Pratap’ published in the ‘Readers Forum ‘page of Organiser. The letter writer Shri V Prakash has observed that the history of Bharat is written by foreigners so it is distorted. He is right. But my point is who prevented Bharatwasis from writing their own history? The truth is that Bharatwasis do not want to write about anything which presents the plight of the sufferers. They only want self glorification. Few years back I got an opportunity to attend the birth anniversary function of Maharana Pratap at the YMCA Hall, New Delhi. The hall was empty and none else except few of us were there. The organisers came on time and saw the hall empty and left without saying a single word. This is the attitude of some of the so-called educated people of Bharat. A massive tragedy of phenomenal proportion took place in 1947 due to Partition of Bharat. But no piece of writing worth the name has been written. Pakistani writers on the other hand have always written about it and try to present themselves as victims. In such a case who should be blamed—the foreigners or our self.
