Intro: Making statements against the country, its glorious history, the oldest faith and culture is considered ‘elite’ in India’s secular political class.

India as a nation is mature enough to move away from the concepts of class war and dictatorship of the proletariat. Although after independence, Indian Communists consolidated in some parts of the country electorally and captured the institutions of nation’s ideological importance. But with the passage of time people of the country started rejecting their ideas at least electorally; as we have seen in the last general election or election of West Bengal state assembly. But still, the communists hold ground in national discourse. They along with secularist (being Secular means minority vote bank is your fuel) framed entire national discourse in contempt towards Hinduism, which is anti-RSS in general and anti-Hindutva in particular. Both these groups Communist (without any political ground) and Secularist (without any intellectual depth) form a group called ISI-Indian Secular Intellectuals.
If anything happens which may shake their politics of vote bank, they start criticising RSS; even if it is based up on falsehoods. Recently we have seen the spate of anti-RSS propaganda after few hundred Muslim converted to Hinduism in a program named “Ghar Vapisi”, it is alleged that organisation behind this program belongs to Sangh Parivar.
Indian Secular Intellectuals hurled abuse at RSS, they seem to get new life after 16th May 2014; old age debates like “Freedom of Religion”, “Conversion is Perversion” in the name of Secularism got new life. But ISI failed to mention even once that it was RSS who is demanding anti-conversion laws since ages as they assert “we all are Hindus as our nature of cohesion is based upon cultural rather than the political.”
No one paid any attention to RSS’ demand for a strong anti-conversion law; even then the secular opposed RSS on dangerous phraseology based upon “Freedom of Religion”.
The Indian Secular Intellectuals who have been working judiciously to present the RSS in bad light since it was alleged that the religious conversion of 350 odd Muslims to Hinduism in Ved Nagar was its doing, have obviously turned a blind eye to everything else. After all, making statements against the country, its glorious history, the oldest faith and culture is considered ‘elite’ in ISI circles.
Will they ever be willing to see beyond their skewed opinions and for once, stop judging or misjudging in the spur of a moment? While those hell bent on defaming the RSS (or any other organisation for that matter) need not be told the truth (they know it already), others who have formed rigid opinions after reading an article or two in a newspaper should definitely take a look at the facts mentioned below, lest they decide to live with the borrowed opinions.
Seculars intellectuals are portraying the event as if it is creation of Hindutva forces, news headlines after headlines start with popular phrase “Hindus outfits”- the plan is to simply attack RSS in general and Hinduism in particular. Secularists and media’s hypocrisy has been exposed when missionaries allegedly converted 70 Hindus to Christianity in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich district; The media remained silent about it. Testimonies after testimonies prove that Hindus had been converted in the past to semitic religion by force or allurement or inducement; so “Grah Wapsi” program is not conversion but assimilations into “Hindu Dharma”.
Let us discuss few events which prove how for secularists conversion is an issue of vote bank politics, for missionaries, it is an issue of harvesting soul and for communists it is the issue of Hindu bashing.
ISI-silent on missionaries and NLFT coterie
Secular brigade was silent when the Baptist Church of Tripura alleged that “missionaries associated with Baptist Church of Tripura supplied weapons and financial assistance to National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) to create fear among Hindus.” Mission-aries plan was simple, first create fear among Hindus then use the psychological fear in conversion activities obviously to achieve the harvest target.
Has anyone in ISI circles written or discussed large scale conversions in North East India?

  • In between 1991-2001, there was 44.7% growth in Christian Population in North-Eastern Region.
  • Assam is the most populated state of the northeast. In between 1991-2001, there was 29.3% growth in Muslim Population and 32.5% in Christian Population. Alarming fact, Buddhist population declined by 20.3%.
  • There was decadal growth of Hindus in several districts of Assam, especially in Bongaigaon, Dhubri, Kokrajhar, Barpeta, Nalbari and Darrang.
  • There was whopping 130.9% growth in Christian Population and 73.4% growth in Muslim Population of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • There was 69.2% growth in Christian Population as well as 69.6% in Muslim Population of Nagaland.
  • There was 5.2% decadal growth in Hindu population of Manipur, however, at the same time, Christians by grew by 36.6% and Muslims by 43.1%.
  • Mizoram recorded 122.5% growth in Muslims populations and Christians recorded 30.7 %. However, at the same time Hindus recorded decadal growth of 9.3%.
  • Tripura recorded 120.5% growth in Christians Population and 29.5 percent growth in Muslim population. However, Buddhist recorded decadal growth of 22.9%.
  • Meghalaya recorded 42.1% growth in Christian population and Muslims grew by 61.4%.
  • Northeastern states excluding Assam recorded 50.6% growth in Christians and 42.4% growth in Muslims.

Was Mahatma Gandhi not secular?
When Gandhi was around, Christian missionaries were at work. In many parts of the country, these missionaries were converting poor and innocent people by offering money. Some even resorted to fraud.
Mahatma Gandhi strongly believed that conversions under the cloak of humanitarian work were immoral. He resented it. Mahatma Gandhi was one of the strongest advocates against the work of missionaries in India. During Gandhi's time Christian missionaries spread their activities far and wide in India. Some missionaries were converting poor and innocent people by offering money, while some were inducting them into Christianity by fraud. After observing the activities of, such missionaries and their effects on the Hindu converts to Christianity, Gandhi remarked that the neophytes were ashamed of their birth, ancestral religion and their ancestral dress.
Gandhiji's message is still relevant for people of this country even today, as it was then, especially for the political class. Gandhi believed that such activities were responsible for Indians losing their national identity
Is Joshua Project and 10/40 Windows secular?
Those who don’t know, this project was launched to ‘harvest’ our souls. We are to be converted to Christianity. The operation was named 10/40 Windows System. Interestingly, the project marked each place in the target country according to the pin codes! Demographic data has been gathered in order to decide on how much effort, finance and timeline is to be considered for conversions. Most secular intellectuals don’t even know about such projects.
Will the secular intellectuals ever talk about The Niyogi Committee report?
The Niyogi Committee published a report on Christian Missionary Activities in 1956. The report was released by the MP government. It was stated that Roman Catholic missions used money-lending as a device to achieve conversions.
Secularism or Vote Bank Politics
Nine Muslims were arrested for Dalit conversions in MP; no prime time for this in electronic media. Who owns the largest portion of India’s non-agricultural land? Catholic Church. And the most secular intellectuals perhaps don’t even know this fact, let alone scratching their head before trying to justify it. After the Railways and Defence Ministry, who owns the biggest portion of land in India? Wakf Board.
A VHP grassroot leader was brutally murdered by missionaries in Odisha in 2008. Secular intellectuals chose to remain quiet.
NGO and Missionaries
This Missionary Menace will become more dangerous in coming years. Missionaries are supported by NGOs in India in the name of welfare. One such NGO with the help of missionaries protested against “Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant “in the name of safety; though the greatest scientist of India Dr. Kalam himself said that there is no harm to the surrounding areas due to the plant. There are 33 lakh (3.3 million) NGOs, operating in India, which means that there is nearly one NGO for every family. Supporting missionary activities has also become a profit making industry. The time has come when we need to revisit the messages give by Gandhi.
