Curb CPM violence on RSS men with iron hand?

RSS delegation meets Union Home Minister ?

An RSS delegation called on Union HRD Minister Shri Rajnath Singh on September 2 and demanded strict action against the CPM goons who brutally killed a senior RSS worker at Kannur in Kerala. In a statement issued after the meeting, RSS Sahsarkaryavah Dr Krishna Gopal said: “The brutal murder of RSS worker K Manoj by CPM goons in Kannur shows the frustration of the CPM. We out rightly condemn this dastardly coward act of violence by CPM. Recently, there has been rise in CPM workers joining RSS activities in large number. This frustration has resulted into such inhuman violent act by CPM. It is highly deplorable that even some national leaders of the CPM have made provocative speeches against RSS and related organisations during their recent tour to Kannur. They have repeatedly referred to ‘Kannur model’ as a successful model to be followed elsewhere. The Congress government had a tacit understanding with the CPM in these matters. In this context a State based investigation cannot identify or punish those who have sponsored the terror for the last half a century in the killing fields of Kannur. Only an independent central agency will be able to untangle the mass of political patronage, terror financing and murder, which has gripped this area. Hence, we humbly appeal to the Union Home Ministry to take proper action in this matter.”                  —Bureau Report?

Symposium on Indian Education Policy?

RSS Delhi Prachar Vibhag on August 30 organised a symposium on ‘Indian Education Policy and Social Media’in RSS Headquaters, Keshav Kunj, Delhi. The main speaker at the symposium was the national convener of the Shiksha Bachao Andolan Samiti Shri Dina Nath Batra and chief guest was Organiser editor Shri Prafulla Ketkar. At the first session, Shri Batra highlighted all aspects of education from ancient to modern education policy, while Shri Ketkar spoke on different dimensions of the education policy. In second session, both Shri Batra and Shri Ketkar, answered the questions from the participants. At the concluding session, Delhi Prant Prachar Pramukh Shri Rajiv Tuli stressed the need to prominently use social media for the important topic of education policy.     —Bureau Report

Cancel Pak exhibition in Delhi —VHP?

Delhi unit of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad on September 3 strongly objected to a Lifestyle Exhibition named as ‘Alishan Pakistan’ scheduled in Delhi from September 11. In a letter to FICCI chairman, State secretary general VHP Shri Ram Krishna Srivastava said the sentiments of the citizens of Bharat would get hurt if they would allow promotion of any product of Pakistan, which continues to attack Bharat by various means since its inception.This exhibition would promote products of the country which is continuously attacking us directly and indirectly, he said. The FICCI in collaboration with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is holding this 2nd edition of ‘Lifestyle Pakistan’ exhibition in New Delhi.     —Bureau Report

Swayamsevaks help bus victims

On August 31, a private bus carrying 78 devotees from Kolkata unexpectedly caught fire at Thirupullanai, near Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu early morning at around 1 am. The devotees were moving towards Kanyakumari after having darshan of Lord Ramanathaswamy at Ramesh-waram. Five persons died on the spot and five were injured and hospitalised. On hearing the news, the swayamsevaks from Ramanathapuram district rushed to the spot. Shri Aadalarasan, Prant Karyavah, along with swayamsevaks coordinated the relief activity.  -VSK, Chennai

Mahabharat tells us what to do and what not —Dr Krishna Gopal?

Mahabharat Ka Sankat, a book by Suryakant Bali released ?

RSS Sahsarkaryavah Dr Krishna Gopal said Mahabharat is the epic, which tells us to act at certain moments in the life and also educates as to what to do and what not. He was speaking at a book release function in Delhi on September 1. Releasing the book, Mahabharat Ka Sankat written by senior journalist Shri Suryakant Bali and published by Prabhat Prakashan, he said the characters of Mahabharat have left a deep mark in every part of the country. “Mahabharat is not just a story of a particular period of our life but it is a ‘calamity’ which occurs in every phase of life. That is why every time at least one person is needed to show the path. At that time it was Sri Krishna,” he said.
Union HRD Minister Smt Smriti Irani, while referring to yugdharma said during Mahabharat period Sri Krishna came to the rescue of Draupadi. But today women have to protect themselves. She said the government’s responsibility is to provide resources and facilities and imparting samskars is the responsibility of the society and the family.    —Bureau Report?

Ish Kumar Chadha honoured with Hindu Sewa Samman

During its Golden Jubilee Year, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad has decided to visit every Hindu’s house with the message of social harmony. It has also decided to expand the network of sewa activities. This was revealed by the VHP Delhi president Shri Rikhab Chand Jain at a function in Delhi on September 2. A swayamsevak of Delhi Shri Ish Kumar Chadha was honoured with Hindu Sewa Samman on this occasion. Local MP Shri Parvesh Verma was also present on the occasion. General secretary of Bhagini Nivedita Sewa Nyas Shri Mahavir Prasad Gupta assured the gathering that the Trust with the inspiration of the VHP will continue to serve the needy people.

Swayamsevaks clean Hebbal Fly Over surroundings in Bengaluru?

The Sewa Vibhag of the RSS in Bengaluru organised ‘Sewa Sanghik’ on August 31 near Hebbal Fly Over. Nearly 259 swayamsevaks along with 50 BBMP workers cleaned the surroundings. They also cleaned areas near railway track and the nearby temples. Shri Krishnamurthy, RSS Mahanagar Sewa Pramukh requested the public, street merchants and others to maintain cleanliness at their surroundings. BBMP Yelahanka Commissioner Virupaksha Mysore, BBMP Member Ashwattha Narayan Gouda, Dr Jayaprakash, RSS Bengaluru Mahanagar Sah Karyavah and others were also present during the Sewa Sanghik. -VSK Karnataka
