VHP conducts wedding of a Pakistani Hindu girl

Delhi unit of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad conducted wedding of a girl belonging to a Hindu family of Pakistan. The family along with many other families lives in Delhi and refused to return back to Pakistan following atrocities by jehadis there. The wedding was solemnised on July 10 at a Farm House in Kanjhawala, Delhi. Many distinguished people of Delhi blessed the bride and groom. The girl, Gopani, was married to the boy of Faridabad. He also belongs to a family which came from Pakistan.
Prominent VHP leaders who were present on the occasion included general secretary of Bhagini Nivedita Sewa Nyas Shri Mahavir Prasad, Vibhag secretary Shri Mewa Ram, district president Shri Vishwa Nath, district secretary Shri Dharmaveer, etc.

Over one lakh Bajrang Dal activists
to donate blood on November 2

Over one lakh Bajrang Dal activists have decided to donate blood all over the country on November 2. Apart from it, the blood groups of at least 11 lakh people will be collected. The decision to this effect was taken at the recently concluded national conference of the Bajrang Dal in Bhubaneshwar on July 10. The conference was attended by over 500 activists.
Speaking on the occasion Bajrang Dal national convener Shri Rakesh Pandey expressed grave concern over the way the number of cows is decreasing in the country. He alleged the State government is not taking effective steps for protection of the cows, which are being freely transported to slaughter houses.
Senior VHP leader Shri Dinesh Chandra expressed concern over the attitude and insulting behaviour of Puri Temple Administration and the State government towards Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati. He termed it as a blow to the religious sentiments of crores of Hindus world over.

Vaidik has no relation with RSS

Commenting on the controversy arising out of the meeting of Indian journalist Ved Pratap Vaidik with 26/11 attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed in Pakistan recently, RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale and RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Dr Manmohan Vaidya clarified on July 15 that “journalist Ved Prakash Vaidik has no relation with the RSS. His meeting with Hafiz Saeed has nothing to do with the RSS”. Meanwhile, Ved Pratap Vaidik also denied being ‘an RSS man’. “I have never been an RSS man. Let (Congress vice president) Rahul Gandhi say what he wants,” said Vaidik further saying he met Hafiz Saeed through another Pakistani journalist only as a journalist. He said he felt bad about this controversy because he has “worked with Congress, they’re my people.”


Attempt to disrupt Sevika Samiti programme thwarted

Consolidation work among women by the Rashtra Sevika Samiti in Tamil Nadu is growing. Extremist groups among Muslims, communists and Dravidian outfits like Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam, Naam Thamizar, Viduthalai Chiruthai Katchi, and DK, tried to create a scene in front of a school where the Gurupuja function of the Gobichettipalayam Shakha (Erode District) was in progress on July 13. On information, the city Police chased the unruly elements away. The Gurupuja function was successfully completed. The function was held in Diamond Jublee Hr. Sec School, Gobichettipalayam. Smt Geetha Ravindran, Dakshin Kshetra Karyavahika and Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini Sadasya were also present on the occasion. (VSK Tamil Nadu)
