(Organiser, 29.9.2013); With reference to Shashi Tharoor speech in Thiruvananthapuram no one need to be shocked or surprised. We have heard of Shashi Tharoor’s tongue in the cheek or foot in the mouth statements. Being a democratic country we all enjoy the freedom to protest, speak-up, vote, pray, etc. That doesn’t mean you can cross all decency while  speaking about Swami Vivekananda. This  has not been the first time we have read about his outbursts. Shashi Tharoor has neither restraint nor constraint while speaking in public or respect for the office he holds in the Central Government. He  should cultivate a codifying standard while making speeches. Hope hereafter he will tame his tongue and think before he talks. Shashi Tharoor has degraded  himself and not Swamiji the “legendary saint whom the  nation salutes.” The nation remembers Swamiji for his historic speech at the World Parliament of Religions at Chicago. I think Shashi Tharoor is unaware of Swamiji's ideology.

Terror and Talk’s can’t go Hand-In-Hand (Organiser,13.10.2013); This  sounds really appalling when our Prime Minister in USA had only handshake with Prime Minister of Pakistan and left the issue of LoC to be solved by army officers of both sides who hate each other. The infiltration from Pakistan is on increase.  Our President Shri Pranab Mukherjee has rightly given a strong message that terrorists do not fall from heaven and they are the creation of Pakistan. A huge anti-India rally of Hafiz Saeed was solidly supported by  Jamaate-e-Islami and Deobandis. Khalid Ahmad, a journalist from Pakistan, writes how  Jamaate-e-Islami, and Deobandis rule over the university campus and educational institutions across Pakistan, particularly Lahore where textbook brainwash is going on (Indian Express, 27.9.2013). Khalid earlier wrote that Pakistan to the extent it is religious, is also an extremist state. All over the world terrorists are Muslims and have one religion that is bloodbath of innocents. Intelligence agencies have also located camps of Muslim youths in India. Even Syrian envoy has complained that Indian jihadis are fighting in their country. Muslim clergies and Intelligentia do not appear to be playing any role  in their localities to curb the activities of jihadis. Recently in Ahmadabad Rahul Gandhi charged BJP and RSS for spreading communal hatred. The fact is that BJP and RSS are creating awakening among the masses about the dreadful designs of terrorists abroad and their outfits in India. But our Government is going soft, as Pakistan is in denial mood of recent  infiltrations. It is amazing that regional parties appear to have no concern on such a serious issue. It has to be fought like a war.

Pseudo-Secularism in Education (Organiser. 13.10. 2013); This refers to 'Pseudo-secularism in  Education' by Prasad S Joshi in Organiser. It has been mentioned that in the NCERT history books 'Rajput warrior Maharana Pratap' does not exist, and “The great Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and all Maratha history have been concluded only in just two page.” There is nothig new in it. It is in line with the Gandhian and Nehruvian philosophy of anti-Hindu secularism, being faithfully followed by Congress and associates. Just after Partition of India in 1947, we came from Pakistan and my father was posted at  Mathura, where I got admission in 10th  class in government school in the year 1948-49. There was a poem by Brajbhashi poet Bhushan in praise of Shivaji in our Hindi textbook. We were told that  from next year, this poem in praise of Shivaji would be excluded. This shows that during the British rule praising Shivaji in school textbooks was allowed, but with the advent of Gandhi and Nehru raj, Shivaji  became communal, because he fought and created problems for great so-called secular king Aurangzeb. And it is a fact that quite often followers of Gandhi and Nehru try to prove Aurangzeb as secular, giving befooling  reasons that he had some Rajput army also. Certainly, Hindus enjoyed much more freedom during British rule than  what is available in so-called free India ruled by anti-Hindu Constitution framed by Nehru and Congress leaders.

Rahul Gandhi's arrogance The way in which Rahul Gandhi occasionally speaks, shows two things. One is that there is a deliberate plan to enact or repeat the performance through which a group of young Turks can over throw the elders of the party as they did prior to Emergency, giving full authority to Indira Gandhi. Then  a series of  black pages unfolded rather got added to the history of Independent India. The  second issue is that ignoring or taking lightly of the rules, regulations, conventional procedures, practices, that we ourselves formed and evolved, indicates, alarming signals, symptoms of a future fragile situation and negative trend engulfing our country. This unwanted drama is only family ego that is in their genes.

Hindus and the future of India (Organiser, 15.9. 2013); The  article, 'Hindus and the future of India' by Shri MV Kamath in Organiser is  thought provoking and challenging. The problem of J&K is the result of noble minded Jawaharlal Nehru's simple  minded legacy to the people of Bharat which  has remained unsolved for 66 years. There is no way but to divide J&K the way  Bharat was divided in 1947. But there should be no Muslim on Bharat's part of J&K and no non-Muslim on the Pak side. If this can be achieved without war, may it be so. Otherwise let there be a war, the fifth and final hopefully. If the matter is to be settled peacefully, let the two countries proceed quickly to form a  border commission to demarcate the borders. Action must be taken on a war footing to avoid war.

Solve Belgaum dispute Former MLA and MES leader BI Patil has urged President of India to solve the dispute between Karnataka and Maharastra over Belgaum issue on the lines of Telangana. He claims that step motherly treatment is being meted out to the pro-Maharastrians residing in the border areas of Karnataka. This way perhaps another a dozen Telanganas will take birth all over the country. In such a case,we find step motherly attitude within Maharashtra State.Vidarbha and Marathawda are being looked down by the western Maharashtra even upto this day, being given a raw deal in all spheres of life,do we have to first need to bifurcate these regions from Maharashtra and make them a independent States before Belgaum? Providing a suitable example against it, we can see the upgradation of State highways in Maharashtra State carried out since a decade by MSRDC has never crossed the borders of Vidarbha and Marathawada. I recollect the remarks of Raj Thackeray that Belgaum in Maharashtra can be another area neglected as Marathawada or Vidarbha. The mute question here is not the inter-State politics but the bad governance that is prevailing, which needs to be improved for overall development of the State. This is nothing but a lame excuse by certain politicians including BI Patil to realise their political dreams at the cost of our country's integration and solidarity.
