‘Bharat Maa Ki Aarti’ by Baba Satyanarayan Mourya

East Delhi unit of Shri Hari Satsangh Samiti organised a unique cultural evening, ‘Vandemataram Gaakar Kar Lo Bharat Maa Ki Aarti by Baba Satyanarayan Mourya’, on August 24 for motivating people of Delhi to join hands in development of Vanvasi villages. The packed Poorva Sanskritik Kendra auditorium responded so enthusiastically that the people expressed desire to adopt more than 400 villages at the function itself. The contribution for adopting one village is just Rs 2,500.

Though, Baba Satyanarayan Mourya has conducted hundreds of such shows and also organised painting exhibitions worldwide, but this show perhaps proved to be the most challenging in his life. Just a few hours before the beginning of the show, he got the news that his mother passed away in Indore. It was the repeat of the setback, as he lost his father just last month. But in spite of that he conducted the show as per the schedule. “It was a matter for development of my Vanvasi brethren,” he told Organiser. Soon after the show Baba left for Indore to perform last rites of his mother.

During the show, Baba not only exhorted Delhiites to understand the pain and suffering of 30 crore Vanvasis, but also connected them with the rich Vanvasi heritage. He also exhorted the people to impart Bharatiya samskars to their children as there is no parallel to the Indian values of life in the world. He also appealed to them to celebrate this Janmasthami by offering their kids cow milk.

Shri Virendra Kumar, Akhil Bharatiya Nagar Sangathan Pramukh of Shri Hari Satasangh Samiti said the Samiti has been trying to materialise the message of Swami Vivekananda who said service to man is service to God. He appealed to the people to join the ‘Vanvasi Raksha Parivar Yojna’ in good number. Noted industrialist Shri Sandip Goel announced to adopt 50 villages. Similarly, other people also offered help for the objective. Shri Mayank Shekhar conducted the proceeding
