Officials say death toll is 207, but unofficial figure claims over 20,000 dead

Missing: Over 14,000

Rescue operation: Army jawans engaged in rescue operation: 6000 (4,500 army and 1,500 ITBP), 40 helicopters in service, two 30-metres long foot bridge being air lifted

Evacuated: Above 1,08,000

Compensation: Rs 2 lakh to the families of dead, Rs 50,000 to injured

Monetary help to Uttarakhand: Rs 1000 crore declared, Rs 145 crore to be given immediately.

Damage: Estimated loss Rs 1500 to 3000 crore, Houses 2232, Roads 1520, Bridges 154

Buildings destroyed over 800, Vehicles swept approximately 700, big bridges vanished from the map

Roads cleared: All major roads cleared but small roads heading towards the shrines and villages are badly damaged

Choppers in use: 60

Equipment dropped: 2,16,310 kg
