AS per Akhbar-e-Mashriq (November 9, 2012), the Bahrain government has debarred 31 Shia leaders from the citizenship. They included three former parliamentarians. The list of people from whom citizenship has been snatched included Shia leader Ali Musama. Before the action was taken against the Shia leaders, Bahrain banned all meetings and demonstrations. There is a clash between Shia and Sunni from the last one year in the country. The Saudi Arabian government is helping Bahrain to crush the Shia revolt. More than 100 activists have been arrested and 31 Shia leaders’ citizenship was snatched. Their cases are being heard by military court. Several Shia leaders fled the country. There was a bloody clash between Shia demonstrators and Sunni government’s army. Several bombs were exploded in Manama — the capital of Bahrain, in which several people were killed. Human right organisations have confirmed the death toll to at least 80. According to another news report by Akhbar-e-Mashriq on November 11, the Army used force to stop thousand of Shia demonstrators offering namaz. Looking at the increased tension in the country, the US has sent several navy ships to the nearby sea. Shia demonstrators are being supported by Iran. The Army has stopped Shia Muslims to offer namaz in mosques and arrested more than 1,000 demonstrators. A 16 year young man was crushed by a car when police were chasing to arrest him. The Government claimed that there is a hand of Lebanese terrorist group Hizbullah in the every blast in Bahrain.
