Savagery by Kannur lobby criminals shocks Kerala, splits LDF?

Kerala observes strike protesting CPM rebel murder?

S Chandrasekhar

$img_titleThe swords and axes of CPM hit-squads, always thirsting for human blood, found one more victim in T.P. Chandrasekharan, on May 4th. At 10.40 pm, as he was nearing his home in Onchiyam, in Vadagara in Kozhikode district, a seven-member hit-squad of the CPM waiting in an Innova car, sped towards his bike at Vallikadu junction. The speeding car immobilised him by hitting his bike. Bombs were thrown to injure him and fear away supporters, who came to help him. Then they stabbed and cut him with swords and axes in 51 places. They sped away only after ensuring his death. Although he was rushed to Badagara Hospital and Kozhikode Medical Hospital, he was already dead.

Normally CPM uses its hit-squads against RSS in Kannur-Thalassery. Panyyannor Chandran, BJP district secretary of Kannur, was butchered into pieces, right in front of his wife in 1996. In 1999 December, BJYM leader K.T. Jayakrishnan was butchered right in front of his students, with his blood and brain splashing on them. Scores of RSS-BJP-ABVP-VHP activists of Kannur have fallen to, CPM swords and axes, to uphold the ‘Bhagwa Dhwaj, in the past 30 years.

Of late the CPM hit-squads controlled by the Kannur lobby, comprising of Pinarayi Vijayan, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, E.P. Jayarajan, P. Jayarajan, M.V. Jayarajan have turned their eyes to Muslim League and CPM rebels. Recently in Thaliparambu, a Muslim League activist who blocked P. Jayarajan’s car was kidnapped and tried in a ‘C.P.M. Court’ and murdered by hit-squads.

In the last Parliamentary Polls CPM lost due to Chandrasekharan in Badagara. For the first time in 30 years CPM lost Onchiyam Panchayat to the RMP. Chandrasekharan, with his organising capacity was becoming a rallying point of CPM cadres, especially in south and central Kerala. They are fed up the criminalised and corrupt Kannur lobby, which is out to destroy the CPM.

Police investigations and reports reveal the clear hand of CPM in the murder. CPM prisoners who were convicted for murder of RSS cadres and who were on parole were in the hit-squad. Police also say the decision to murder Chandrasekharan was taken at the marriage function of Andyeri Sura’s daughter on April 22nd which was attended by Kodiyeri and Jayarajan. Police Say Kodi Suni, Andyeri Sura, Farris, Rafeeq, Navin and two others were in the hit-squad. Incidentally Rafeeq who is also an NDF (Jehadi) activist is in jail for murder of an RSS swayamsevak.

Police raids at Kannur Central Jail, which is a CPM strong hold, yielded hundreds of mobiles and arms. The CPM hit-squad had called the co-prisoners at the jail and gloated over the murder. The CPM prisoners have damaged all the 19 Mobile-Jammers in jail. Moreover all the mobiles used by the hit-squads had sim-cards taken in the name of women from southern districts of Kerala. All these clearly reveal a planned operation by the CPM.

Kannur central jail is a CPM Party Village. Several times in past decade, RSS prisoners have been shifted to other jails due to attacks by CPM prisoners.

Unconfirmed media reports say that five are in police custody and for the remaining two police has spread net in adjoining Karnataka.  Moreover two area secretaries of CPM are absconding from the day of murder.?
