Prof. Milind Marathe and Umesh Dutt re-elected ABVP president and general secretary respectively

Prof. Milind Marathe and Shri Umesh Dutt were re-elected national president and general secretary of ABVP respectively on December 26. Election officer Prof. Raghuraj Kishor Tiwari made this announcement in Mumbai. The term of both the newly elected office bearers will be for one year.

Prof. Marathe works as Assistant Professor in Department of Electronics Engineering with KJ Somaiya College of Engineering in Mumbai. He is an ABVP activist since 1979. He is also known for his deep study on higher education policies. He held various responsibilities in ABVP. He was elected national president for the first time in 2008. It will be his fourth term. Shri Umesh Dutt is basically from Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh and is active in ABVP since 1995. He also held various responsibilities in the ABVP. He was also national secretary for two terms.
