For UPA ‘Grand Prix’ is more important than the problems of aam aadmi
I have read  that about rupees 1,700 crore has been spend on the Indian Grand Prix recently held in Greater Noida. The question is that whether the event was necessary and what benefits or national  gains will it bring for our country which is battling against inflation and corruption. Today the condition of aam aadmi  is miserable and no one is interested in listening to their problems. The common man is not able to make two ends meet. Farmers are committing suicide after suicide and  parents in poverty-stricken rural Bharat are forced to  sell  their children. Where does car racing fit into all this? If the amount spent on this international event was spent for the development of Bharat, most of the problems of less-privileged would have been solved. But unfortunately the thick skinned UPA netas especially PM who has been rightly called Emperor Nero of India—is doing nothing for aam aadmi.  Further I feel that since India has an agricultural based economy there is no point encroaching such a vast area of land for just car racing. It is not just only waste of land but from environment point of view it will create pollution too.

Don’t get distracted by meaningless talks on violence and non-violence (Organiser, 23.10.11); This refers to Dr Narendra Kohli’s speech at Nagpur, as published in Organiser. His entire speech is in praise of Mahatma Gandhi, who is responsible for all the ills and problems being faced by the Hindus. However Dr Kohli has rightly condemned the demand for clemency for those terrorists, who have been held responsible for attacking the Parliament and killing innocent countrymen.  Now let us see, as to what Gandhiji would have done  in such cases. Swami Shraddhanand, who was Gandhiji’s right hand man during Satyagraha, was brutally assassinated by a Muslim Abdul Rashid. Gandhiji wrote a letter to that murderer addressing him as Pyare bhai Rashid (i.e. dear brother Rashid), and established  brotherly relations with him. But Rashid was promptly arrested by the British government. Gandhiji immediately petitioned to the Viceroy for clemency, but it was rejected and Rashid was sentenced to death. (See the review of Gandhism  by AB Kelkar, Organiser 2.2.1997). The British Viceroy was certainly far better than Gandhiji who rejected the petition of Gandhiji. The whole life of Gandhiji was full of such bad acts  of helping Muslim killers of Hindus. Praising Gita was only to befool the Hindus, and Shri  Kohli is one of those victims of Gandhiji’s goody goody sayings. Infact it is a sin to praise Gandhiji, and  hope that RSS would not allow itself to become a victim of such hypocrisy of most dangerous person like Gandhi.

RSS warns against granting more  concessions  to J&K (Organiser, 9.10.11); This  is with reference to the front page article in yor esteemed weekly ‘RSS warns against granting more concessions to J&K’, by  Khajuria S Kant. The article is a great relief to all those souls who are really bothered about the fate of Kashmir under the rule of traitors like UPA at the Centre and their political partner at the State. Ever since Independence though the King of J&K Maharaja Hari Singh had agreed for final accession to India, Congress has been toiling to donate J& K to Pan Islamic forces.  Article 370, was enacted for  the said purpose by Pandit Nehru. Now  in the name of granting  more concessions to J&K in the form   of self rule or autonomy  the same conditions are being  created  by traitor Congress. I totally agree with RSS that a strong Hindu  India  is necessary to meet all threats to India.

UPA complicity in Islamic terror (Organiser, 2.10.11); It appears that the learned writer Dr Gautam Sen had overlooked the other brands of terrorism while writing the article. According to The Sunday Times,  last year out of the 249 terrorist attacks in the European Union only three were carried out by Muslim groups. In our country too in the last one decade, in every terrorist attack, Muslims were implicated, but after completion of the judicial process, they were honourably set free. In the due course of time, some honest whistle blowers have unearthed a rightwing nexus of terrorism too and many key figures of this new brand have been put behind the bars. However your another columnist finds himself ‘At liberty’ to pinpoint the terrorist and pleads for giving a free hand to the security forces to deal with them. Hence it is not justified to go on harping over only on ‘Islamic Terror’.

Don’t  pick a hole in one’s coat Congress Party in Karnataka used to blame Speaker of Karnataka Legislative Assembly for not accepting the resignation immediately tendered  by Cabinet Minister  B Shriramulu and accused the Speaker for inordinate delay. Finally it was accepted some days ago, Before alleging and pointing fingers on others it (Congress) should ask its own party’s Speaker of  the Lok Sabha  Mrs Meira Kumar, why she did not immediately accept the resignation of eight (8) Members of the Lok Sabha hailing from  Telengana region of Andhra Pradesh in July last? Even after lapse of three months their resignations were not accepted by her. Congress has no right to question the speaker of Karnataka Legislative Assembly, if they are themselves not following the  rules.

Baseless remarks on Advani’s Rathyatra In a discussion over TV  on 15.10.11, between Congress leader Manishankar Ayer and prominent journalist  Swapan Das Gupta on the subject of Advaniji’s Rathyatra over corruption Manishankar made an attempt to describe  Shri LK Advani as communal. To justify his comment he quoted Advaniji’s speech in London in the year 1990 where he had said that in India, Christians are Hindu-Christians and Muslims are Hindu-Muslims.Advaniji  had quoted from the book Bharat itihas (Indian History), written by Poet Rabindranath Tagore where Rabindranath expressed his thinking about India and Indian notion. Every sentence of this very small book is thought provoking and I feel everybody should go throught it. To Tagore Hinduism is not a religion and it is well established fact historically, which Shri  Advani and BJP made it clear many times. Knowing fully well the Congress ignored the fact for their convenience to divide the Indian society on religion basis for the creation of their vote bank. Taking into consideration,  that the Hindus generally are indifferent to mix religion with politics and Muslims are very much conscious of their religious groups is all respects, the Congress communalised the policies by framing different laws, different education, extra ordinary institutions, etc. for Muslims. The Prime Minister himself declares that the Muslims have the first right over the resources of the country and his government is identifying the districts of the whole country where more than 20 per cent and at places 14 per cent Muslims live. That way the Congress party is taking them away from mainstream.

Oh! My handicaps

Oh! My handicaps listen to me,
Don’t  be looked at.
What people say about us,
Rest assured in mind,
One day we will succeed.

Have you any doubt about it?
What do you say? Have I?
No doubt but full confidence,
One day we will succeed,
We will be, we will be, we will be.

Demand against AFSPA in J&K I was shocked to learn that Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah is bent upon withdrawing  the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) from parts of the  State in spite of the fact that the Indian Army, the Defence Ministry and the two committees he himself had formed are of the view that the ground situation is not ripe for such a move. The Chief Minsiter should desist from ignoring the security  needs of the region in pursuit of politics.

No referendum on KashmirShri Bhaiyaji Joshi has rightly expressed surprise at Team Anna member Prashant Bhushan’s  suggestion that  a referendum be held in Kashmir, and accused the advocate of speaking the language of separatists. He has rightly said that the Sangh would never agree to a referendum in Kashmir. Kashmir is an integral part of India. We cannot  accept any such suggestion. The people of this country will never agree to it. This is the language and vocabulary of the separatists.  It was so nice of RSS that  though it criticised Bhushan’s  stand on Jammu and Kashmir, but it condemned the violence against Mr Bhushan. I am very happy to learn that both the RSS and the BJP are in favour of the abrogation of Article 370, which gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir and their ultimate. aim is to integrate PoK into India.

Digvijay suffers from verbal diarrhoea and constipation of ideas Although I am not a doctor but I  am hundred per cent sure that Digvijay Singh is suffering from  verbal diarrhoea and  constipation of ideas. In every sentence which  he  speaks he blindly  criticises the BJP and the RSS and without applying common sense favours his employer Rahul Gandhi. I was shocked to read that he has suggested to the Judiciary that it should take a cue from a US court which released globally recognised corporate figure Rajat Gupta on bail. The implied motive is that the  courts in India which are hearing the 2G and the Commonwealth Scam cases should similarly let out the various Congress people jailed in connection with the scams. I feel it is for the courts to decide whether the accused people should be given bail or not. Further I feel that Digvijay Singh has not become overnight so wise to give advice to the Indian Judiciary.

—Maya Mishra,  Mayu Vihar-1

Be careful Anna Hazare’s  team should desist form provocative statements in the interests of a successful campaign, which is expected to  be a long-drawn-out intensive effort. Parliament is an expression of the collective will of the people of India. It cannot be overridden by the will of any single individual. If some changes in the system are necessary they should be attempted within the framework of the constitutional system. Arvind Kejriwal’s statements may be well intentioned  but could be exploited by those whose  interests are hurt by the anti-graft campaign and unfortunately those people are the ones in power. Thus I feel  that Team Anna should be very careful while dealing  with corrupt and notorious UPA.
