Dr Virendra Hegde releases book on Sadanand Kakade?
A book on veteran VHP leader, the late Sadanand Kakade, was released in Bengaluru on October 15. Dr Virendra Hegde of Dharmasthala Temple released the book at Keshavashilpa Hall of Rashtrotthana Parishat. Dr M Rama Jois, former Governor and Chief Justice of Punjab-Haryana High Court, presided over the function. Senior RSS Pracharak Shri Chandrashekhara Bhandary spoke on the life and contribution of Sadanand Kakade, and recalled his contribution for the growth of VHP work in Karnataka and southern India.
Dr M Shivakumar Swamy, editor of the book, Sri Babu Rao Desai, VHP central committee member, Sri Raghav Reddy, treasurer of VHP and several other leaders were also present at the function. The late Sadanand Kakade was a senior VHP functionary and dedicated his whole life for the Hindu society. He passed away on July 12, 2010. He hailed from Belgaum and had joined the RSS at the age of 20.
