VISHWA Hindu Parishad general secretary Dr Pravin Togadia said that Swami Aseemanand and Shri Indresh Kumar were being framed under a larger conspiracy to ‘save’ the Parliament attack case convict Afzal from being hanged. He was addressing a Dharma Sabha in Vadodara on December 5. On the Ayodhya issue, he said co-existence of temple and mosque in the Ramjanma-bhoomi premises is not acceptable. He reminded the Centre that it had promised to allocate adequate land in Ayodhya if the court accepted the claim of the existence of a temple at the site before the construction of the Babri mosque. He said the Centre is duty-bound to allocate the entire 67 acres of the disputed land at the birthplace of Sri Ram for the construction of the temple and the VHP would not allow the Congress government to play politics in the name of Babar.
