AKHIL Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) won the posts of president and vice president in Rajasthan University Students Union (RUSU) elections held recently. The post of general secretary has gone to NSUI while the post of joint secretary has been won by an independent. It is to be noted that the NSUI official candidate performed weaker than the NSUI rebel. ABVP candidate Manish Yadav defeated the NSUI rebel candidate Mukesh Bhakar by a margin of 177 votes for the post of president. While Meenakshi Meena of ABVP won the vice president post defeating Ekta Dikshit by a margin of 209 votes. The post of general secretary was won by Shri Narasi Kirad while the post of joint secretary was won by Neha. (FOC)
