DELHI unit of Rashtriya Sikh Sangat observed anti-terrorist day on July 25. Addressing the gathering retired Air Chief Marshal Shri RC Vajpayee said terrorists have no religion and they should be dealt with iron hand. He expressed concern over the delay in hanging Afzal even after being given death sentence by the Supreme Court. He said delay in hanging Afzal would prove fatal for the entire country.
Wing Commander (retd.) Shri JS Chaddha said the government should show willpower to eliminate terrorism. He said providing State patronage to the terrorists in the country would prove disastrous for the nation.
National secretary of VHP Prem Singh Sher said only patriotic citizens can foil the game plans of terrorists. He appealed to the countrymen to be vigilant and expose those who support terrorists.
National general secretary of the Sikh Sangat Shri Avinash Jaiswal said the situation in the country is fast turning fatal and there is a need to fight unitedly against terrorists. He said Bangladeshi infiltration and conspiracies by Pakistan and China are also posing serious threats to the security of the country. (FOC)
