BIHAR Kshetra organising secretary of Vidya Bharati Udham Chandra Sharma passed away in Patna on February 21 following a heart attack. He was 59. Prominent among those who paid tribute to the departed soul included RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale, Kshetra Pracharak Shri Swant Ranjan, Prant Pracharak Shri Anil Thakur, national organising secretary of Vidya Bharati Shri Brahmdev Sharma ‘Bhaiji’, joint organising secretary Shri Prakash Chandra, Kshetra secretary Dr Ramakant Rai, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Shri Sushil Modi, Health Minister of Bihar Shri Nand Kishor Yadav and many other prominent citizens of Patna.

After doing engineering from Dhanbad Udham Chandraji became RSS Pracharak in 1969. He was Zila Pracharak in Patna, Bhagalpur, Aurangabad and many other districts. He was given the responsibility of Bihar and Jharkhand Kshetra organising secretary of Vidya Bharati in 2000.
