Shri Dinesh Chandra, general secretary (organisation) of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, released the special issue of Chetna Pravah on health in Varanasi on March1. Chetna Pravah is the fortnightly newspaper, which has wide reach in rural areas of Uttar Pradesh. Releasing the issue, he stressed the need to draw benefits from the Ayurveda and yoga. Prof. Krishna Bihari Pandey, Prant Sanghachalak of RSS Kashi Prant and former chairman of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission hoped that the special issue would spread awareness among people regarding health. Kashi Prant Pracharak Shri Shivnarayan advised the people to try the domestic things first instead of visiting the doctor for even minor ailments. Prof. Omprakash Singh, editor of Chetna Pravah, also spoke on the occasion.
