Prathmik Varga of Rashtra Sevika Samiti, Manipur unit, was organised at Bal Vidya Mandir, Palace Compound from January 11 to 17. A total of 55 women trainees from four districts underwent training for one week. Besides the local Samiti leaders Shantakka Tai, Akhil Bharatiya Karyavahika of the Samiti, guided the workers. She stressed the need to educate the women of the challenges the society and the nation are facing. Smt. T.H. Vidyarani Devi, former additional advocate general of Guwahati High Court presided over the concluding ceremony. She said the atmosphere of the society is more polluted than the atmosphere at homes. She stressed the need to make the educational institutions more effective.
